HI Sea...great minds think alike...I have a lot of stuff under the stairs and could do with the space for storage so am going to give all the stuff to Barnados as some children will be greatful for it ...I could car boot it but if I was on a car boot I won't be out on the cab so will be losing money...so will give it to charity and that way I can clear some much needed space...I'm happy and well today thanks xx
  • Can I make a suggestion to those who dot want to do a car boot...why not put the stuff on your local freecycle? Hopefully then a debt free buddy may be able to flog it and get some much needed cash. I'm sure it would make someones day but sea if you can d a car boot - seriously people will buy anything!!!

Actually - I didn't even think of a car boot - wonderful idea! Will still get *some* money for it and anything I don't sell will go straight to the most fabulous charity shop in my town (the staff are utterly wonderful and make a huge fuss of DD whenever we go in there - also they really take care of their stock and seem to really enjoy being in the shop!). Will get my mum in on this as she enjoys car boots too :)

    Thanks you two :D

    hi all

    Missed the boards so much!

Am in a bit of a state at the moment with money - seem to have developed a strange fear about having NO money and no way of getting any. Daft I know, as I do have enough money coming in etc. and the CCCS have organised the budget so that we have enough. Not sure what's going on really. I think my depression has reared up a lot, but hopefully it'll calm down a bit - going to see the dr for a review in the next few days anyway. That's probably just making everything seem more intensified anyway.

    Anyway, enough from me.

    hope all are well

    Hi Sea

Hugs to you. I know those panicky moments - I am fairly calm most of the time but get really bad days when I almost start hyperventilating when I think of the need to keep money rolling in month after month, year after year...

You know you'll be fine, with a good salary etc, but that probably doesn't help right now.

Nice to 'meet' you on Facebook too - what a baffling array of communications methods we have at our disposal these days.

Hi Sea..sorry that you are feeling so down...you really do need to see your DR..so am glad you have made an appointment...you will be perfectly fine moneywise I know you will...it's probably because the payments to your DMP have gone up that you've panicked..the budget was planned with them and as you had extra coming in ..they have took extra off you...you coped before honey..so I know you will again..
Try thinking of it this way and see if it helps..because the payments have gone up..you will clear the debt quicker..then you'll have loads of money to do what you want with..that DFD is so much nearer..so the battle won't be as long...
I know how you feel..it's such a long hard journey clearing debt and so very tiresome ..especially combined with working full-time and keeping a family together...but girl you can hold your head up high and be very proud that you cleared your debt and think of all those lessons you will have learnt about budgetting and getting real value for every pound that you spend...you are doing absolutely fantastically ...I hope you feel better soon...take care xx
