  • Just popping in to say happy Christmas! Hope things didnt get too eventful last night & that today is filled with joy & laughter! Hoe the kids enjoy it! Just spoke to Godchildren who are SO excited!! I said maybe if they've got that many presents that there wont be room for ours? Quick as a flash she said dont worry we can move some into the dining room and there is loads of room under the tree cos they'll have cleared the one from today!! Very cunning!

Right - managed not to drink last night so could drive back here last night and spent a very nice sleep in my own bed! :) William slept in as well which was lovely. Am now looking after my 2, b-i-l's 2 (aged 18 months and 4) and s-i-l's son (3). Not so bad so far - they've all gone shopping and as I can't, I volunteered for babysitting! :D Might attempt some biscuits later, but we'll see how the little ones get on. Might quickly put them together then get them to cut them out then decorate them.

Christmas has been ok, nice for the children which is the main point.

I got some lovely presents last night from b-i-l's gf who I get on with really well now - we need to talk about kevin, the demented housewife(!!), and a book by Jodi Picoult (sp?). As well as a few bits that I wouldn't usually buy myslef so that was lovely :D

My mum bought me number 10 (sue townsend), latest one in the ladies detective agency series as well as a few others I've not heard of. So lots of lovely reading to do in the new year :)

The children have been spoilt rotten! They have been given such lovely things - Will got sooo much including a lovely wooden garage and posh dressing gown! Sophia is in heaven - barbies galore, including a barbie bride and groom car.

Just been informed by dear niece and nephew that my house is too small and their houses are much bigger and better. Ah well.

But did they prefix it with "My mummy says:" like my XOH's did. And dropped their mother right in it... :rotfl:
