Hi
Does anyone have this old account from Halifax still showing in their list of online accounts?
Can you confirm the rate and when this is likely to expire?
Thanks

I was going to start a thread but found this one.
I have a web saver extra online account, i originally opend it in 2009 and its rate now online shows at 1.8%, i haven't used it since last year but does anyone know how long this rate lasts for? is it going to stay at that rate for aslong as i have the account.0 -
Funnily enough I was sorting my banking this week and came across a Halifax letter to say that the interest rate on this account was reducing from 2% to 1.80% It says nothing about time limits but indicates that a £1 balance is needed to keep it open. I'm taking it as a clean 1.8% account without restrictions, unless someone here comes on and tells me different. Its quite a handy account what with the instant internal transfers to and from my reward current account.£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190

http://www.moneysupermarket.com/c/news/review-of-the-week-halifax-web-saver-extra/0009184/However, the other main thing to watch out for is the withdrawal restrictions. This is an easy access account and you can get at your money whenever you want to - but you may be penalised for doing so. Only one penalty-free withdrawal is allowed each year. If you choose to dip into your funds more than once over the year then you will be penalised with a loss of 30 days interest on the amount withdrawn.0 -
mmmmmmmm anyone know any good rates on other accounts to beat this rate,.:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:0
