And don't think I have damn well tried in a course I hated and for all the jobs I have applied for?:beer:0 -
The large man who carts cages around our Asda & restocks the shelves throughout the day looks fine in his uniform.
oh, and he's got Cerebral Palsy too.
My daughter would also have no problem yanking a cage around Asda, unloading it & taking the empty one back to restock it.
She has Cerebral Palsy too.
Why am I bothering? Why am I here?
I have a bath with a Lush Mango melt waiting. I've got a bag to pack for a 2 night stay away on Monday. I've got to get my uniform ready for work tomorrow. I've got to empty the tumble drier.
And here I am giving advice to someone who's not listening
I am listening but I do have serious self confidence issues and I really don't want a job that involves working in a very public setting especially not with uniform.:beer:0 -

People who laugh at those with disabilities, laugh regardless of what they wear and where they work. They are plain ignorant and not worth the time of day.0 -
What jobs exactly? So far you have applied for PERHAPS 8, you change that figure each post, and had one interview.
My 16 year old has gone into more shops in half an hour with her CV than you've had hot dinners.0 -

We were dragged, screaming and kicking into Lush yesterday by the smell
If they hadn't been so busy my daughter was going to ask for an application form as she would love to mess with the "potions" and cut up the soap!0 -

Previously you have said its because you wouldn't be able to do physical jobs.
You have, I imagine, applied for a dozen jobs at the very most.
When you have applied for 100 or more then come back and complain.
Do some voluntary work whilst you wait.
If your self confidence is so bad then go volunteer in a charity shop to get you used to meeting people?
If your self confidence is so bad why did you want to work in a Uni full of people?Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

Then apply for call-centre work. No uniform, no customer-facing.0 -
is the "uniform" not just trousers and a shirt? i'm sorry but unless i'm mistaken you will find that most blokes whether fat, thin, tall, short, bodily abled or not tend to wear these sort of clothes day in day out and tend not to be that fussed about them...... what makes you so different?mustn't grumble :cool:0

I know that full well, but there must be an office job I can get where I do not have to show myself and my disability off all the time especially to public view.:beer:0 -
