depends what you are looking for, like you say very different locations / holidays. How old are your children and are you wanting sun ?!

Lake Garda is stunning ,I fell in love with the area and will be going back next year. Weather will be better than France / Holland

Have done la Croix 4 times and loved it ,also Le Chene Gris which is much closer to Disney but not so much onsite ( not a problem if using a base for Disney )

what dates can you do ?

We aren't fussy about 'what type' of holiday it is, we are quite flexible as long as the kids are happy. Some sun for me would be nice, somewhere for my DH to explore and a little bit of sun at least is all we require.

Lake Garda was originally our choice of honeymoon and we had to cancel so that was our reason for trying to get one there. Is Le Chene Gris the other eurocamp Paris park? I thought that was Internationale? Is there another one... (off to investigate)!
Lol. You are listing all the parks i have been to/want to go to next:D

Dunirell is fab. Been there twice, and going back again in may.

Went to le chen gris last october. Really liked it as a base or exploring paris. Will definitely go again.

Going to la croix this october. Sounds great,- lots of good reviews.

Also, really fancying italy for next year. Lake garda looks stunning.

Like you say, they are all very different holidays, but all equally great.

Good luck. Hope you get one of your parks. They are all fab choices:D

Thankyou! Le Croix is good, the kids loved it and the people were so friendly, its just whether we want to explore somewhere new... We don't want to do the 'Paris' thing again, it was nice the once but with 3 young children and the tube stations without lifts it got a little too stressful lol.

Duinrell is my DH main choice, I love the look of it but worried about the weather... I can imagine 7 days of rain!

I wish I could have them all but that would be greedy.

We also plan on emigrating in the next 3 years to Australia so now may be our last chance to visit these countries...

Im excited already, is anyone else?

Sorry to ask a stupid question instead of googling, but are either of the paris parks near an airport?

I don't think International or La Croix are near CDG airport but that's all I know sorry.

PS I don't think Le Chene Gris is available this year, I cant find it.

Dunirell is really great. It's not just the park, it's the access to so many other great places to visit as well. Amsterdam, Leiden the hague to name a few..

The nearby village of Wassener is wonderful also. I think it may be pretty difficult to get in the main schoolholidays through the sun though.
    It's a really popular park..

We managed it once in july, but have booked directly since then, as we wanted a guarenteed seven days, and we get a great price from canvas.

I'm sure you'll get something, but you do have to be very quick!
I'm going out tomorrow night at 7:eek: Really hope it is open and i have managed to book by then.
  • What time roughly does te booking site open on friday? I remember last year people getting the last code at 3am. lol
  • How did they get it at 3am lol

hmm you're right Le Chene Gris not available this time round

I'm a huge Disney fan and so the 8 times i've been to the Paris area ,i've not actually "done" the whole Paris touristy thang ! :rotfl:

3 years is plenty of time to do all these SUN holidays ;)

it usually opens a day earlier than stated ( so tomorrow ) and once the site is open the code cracking / guessing begins !

has been open anytime from 4pm in the past ,so it's a case of F5ing a lot !
