It cost me £80 to upgrade to silver but I had to as I added a extra person also, no they didnt say anything about the passes, I've removed mine everytime I go And never needed them if when I get there I do u can purchase them there but u won't I'm sure

Hey guys, im kina new here but just booked a sun holiday for the first time..

Just wondering is silver the only upgrade possible?

Also if we remove the linen and entertainment if there's no bedding can we still hire some? and what if we need a pass?

u can upgrade to a bigger standard if its available but normally its silver everytime they upgraded me has been to silver ive heard that some people have upgraded to gold once they actually get there they have to go to the gold reception and ask, not sure about the hotels i think u could ask i know u can add extra people and extra days for discounted price, i think in silver the beds are always made up, but not sure about standard and i know u can add passes once ur there if u needed them but i never have so have always removed them hope ive helped a little

Hi we tried to book a Sun holiday last time they were advertised but was not successful with any of our choices. We got a letter back advising to apply again as soon as the new offers became available. We had to post off our application with the letter and wait to see what we got. Am getting concerned now as this was over a week ago and still not heard anything from them, I have been checking my emails daily but nothing as yet, any idea how I can check on progress. We are looking for a week in the school holidays and now online booking is open to everyone we are worried we are not going to get anything again !! If anyone has any suggestions I would be really grateful !

Postal applications do tend to take quite a while, probably upto a month before you hear anything, 1 tip is to keep watcing your bank balance, because they only take your fee that you posted with the allocation once they allocate something, so if the money gets taken from your account, you will at least know you got something, and I am not sure, but I would have thought they would keep a certain percentage of holidays back for the postal applications and not open them all up for the online booking system, this is probably why the online booking system gets more holidays down the line, as once they finish processing all the postal applications they will then put what they have left onto the online booking system, which hopefully they will have a few off later, as I cant get anything at the moment on the online booking:(

Little bit fogged at moment? We paid £101.40 for whitecliff bay via Sun booking form.

Can anyone figure this out?
Also is it wise to upgrade to a caravan,keep hearing how crap the chalets are.

Can anyone offer me any advice please..we are booked for week at le Chene Gris and had confirmation sent through today (sun holidays lost booking details so so many probs). Anyway the confirmation asks for supplement payment of £63..does anyone know what that is for. It's not linen as that is seperate on confirmation. I will call them tomorrow but was looking for heads up as have to phone Dutch office and was just wondering if anyone knew so i know what im talking about. We stayed at berny rivière (la croix) last year and I don't remember paying anything extra.

Service charge per night ( usually £7 or so )
and £15 insurance damage waiver

Thank you Rachie..when I called them they just said it was money still owed. Couldn't tell me exactly what for. Thanks for clearing that up! 😃
