  • Evening all - just hit target with a rather easy DS on newspapers (specifically the broadsheets), so pleased with that. Not as pleased as I am after my 4 year old son chose the winner on the National today - this morning we were laughing at his 'donkey' choice, more fool us hey?! £100 into his bank account - going to get him to do the lotto numbers next week!

KM - of course I'll let you know when Baby makes an appearance! xx

145/70 thanks to the usual tasks, games, and a survey about Morrisons.

I got that yesterday Paul. That stupid thermometer thing you had to put the different ones on was a pig to get working. Who dreams these things up ? DUH !

I couldn't get it to accurately record everything and sometimes the card things just flew back off the meter. A simple score of 1 to 10 would have worked so much more easily and they would get more accurate results. Oh well, that's there problem

Got excited then - had a trusted survey for 88sb only to get 'Thank you for your interest, the survey has been temporarily closed'

There's a peanut labs survey for 88sb about fruit juices. I did it on IE and it worked OK because some people said it wouldn't work on chrome or FF. Now some are saying they couldn't get it to work on IE either, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Probably a stupid question, but has anyone ever tried the answering questions that are worth 0.80 swagbucks?
I was particularly bored and tried them as they seemed fun(!) but I did 3 pages of them and the task bar stayed on 8/20 for the whole time.
I then did a Fisher task and it moved to 12/20. So I am wondreing if there is a fault or whether this is normal as it says you get 30x the base rate for good answers, so do they check my answers are good before they reward me?

I had to laugh though at one of the questions, which you are supposed to type a minimum of 150 words for. It was how old is Adriano Bettinelli? How are you meant to answer that in 150 words?!

I wondered about the 30 x the base rate thing. At 0.80 sb per task we'd need to do 25 of them to earn 20sb. The only thing I can think is if they review the answers and then award more sb if it's a good answer.
