Speaking of water fights...according to our local paper a 3 yr old boy was playing with a small water gun and squirted a man but instead of the man laughing it off, he smacked the little boy on the hand and burnt him with a fag! :eek:

Fire**fly, I used to always buy broccoli and tomato quiche (or quickie as my DD calls it ) from a cafe and it was lovely but never tried the tesco one yet

Well done all the winners! Has everyone checked the Glamour Winners List? I have won day 6 Lipcote and day 11 Mascara. Was hoping for more but very nice anyway.
Had a lovely morning at "Threave Gardens". Such a beautiful day for visiting it although DH did moan it would have been nicer on a cruise. We saw a Woodpecker from the bird hide which was lovely. Only seen one once before and that was there too.
Must get more washing hung out and then maybe enter the odd comp.

Thanks SueM - would love to win DH that. Did win him a bottle of malt once but not that sort of price.

ILC - yep, maybe you are guessing my era? Yes bit like them .... but today, when weather improved, I went out to mow the lawns - unfortunately nearly took me eye out ....... mowing round bird bath and have pretty gravel/stones round it, but random stone got caught in mower and hit my eye full on.

Is anyone as accident prone as me????

Anyway, eye seems to have survived and i will live to 'see' another day!!!! Not telling me kids ....... they will despair of me but guess they are used to it!!!

Ff hope you enjoy the quiche? Let me know. I usually make me own quiches and freeze them, but always interested to know other makes etc.

checked the glamour win & won once - day one!!! that explains the phantom nail polish . Someone with a name close to mine seemed to win about 8 times ....... and some people didn't win anything.

DS2 rang about half an hour ago he's graduating with a 2.1 now to find someone who can give him a job somewhere nice & sunny. Not being totally selfish because his degree is in wildlife conservation & zoo biology & he specialised in tropical wildlife .
