Morning!

Another beautiful morning - going to be upset when this weather vanishes.
Decided not to go to Ullswater as we would feel like idiots if we left this weather to get wet hill walking. Decided to go to "Threave Gardens" instead. We have Nat Trust for Scotland Tesco Tokens to use anyway so will take a picnic and go for shopping on way back. Better stock up for kids before we go away.
Wonder if we will get the Glamour list today - not holding my breath for any wins though.

Well done on the Syrup book ILC.

Feel bit better today .... last night I gave meself a good talking to (cat looked on totally unimpressed!:D:D) - had a good sleep and woke up this morn to ......... rain :eek:

Been raining all night it seems - fairly overcast at the mo but hopefully will improve later.

Because of the sunny days of late, I have started to wash settee covers etc (they are cream or meant to be (!) but thank the lord they can be shoved in the washing machine). Got one lot dried out on the line yesterday, one lot waiting to be hung out and one to do plus cushion covers etc.

Daren't use the drier with them - far too expensive - so it's been put on hold until the sun appears again!

Cat is having a ball with the settees etc being pulled out as I remove the covers ....... she has found long lost cotton reels, couple of toy mice, various other cat playthings (all biffed underneath by my wee feline friend) the odd spider and errrm cobwebs :eek:

Just popped head in quickly as need to finish packing. Was hope to be off by 10 but not anywhere ready yet.

Weather update .......... dark with heavy rain, thunder and lightening, having to put the lights on :eek::eek:
