Beautiful morning here, sunny with slight breeze so I can hang me sofa covers out to dry and get some more on the go, once they are done I can get the lounge back to some sort of normality - well sort of ....... nothing is ever really normal in my abode!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Know what you mean about them quiches ff ....... I have been disappointed before too. I'm always enticed by the sound of them, with the veggies in them etc and once I tuck in I find them rather bland and very short on filling! It's a shame really cos the smaller quiches would suit me fine but now I make up a load of pastry and freeze it in portions, enough for small quiche/foil containers and make up me own.

Thankfully we have now quite a good selection of feathered friends visiting (thank goodness) and also have lots of plants to entice the lovely bee population - again v worrying how their numbers are diminishing

Ooooh, while I think of it ILC ...... couple of good puddy cat programmes on next week - Horizon - The Secret Life of the Cat: Thursday, 9.00 BBC2 then follow up on the Friday 10.00 BBC2 called Little Cat Diaries. Should be fairly interesting!

hiya alfie :wave: tbh buying the quiche was a bit of
laziness on my part :D thought it looked nice when ordering & would save me some cooking & not had one for ages so gave it a twirl, like said won't be trying it again :eek:
yours sound lovely :j will take a leaf from your book & start doing my own again :j

birds are very busy here again this morning, lovely to watch & listen to them :j
have lots of diff plants for the butterflys/bees/ as well :j

I should have said in my post that all puddy cat lovers will find this a good watch!

Also tomorrow - BBC2 8.00pm Operation Snow Tiger 2 episodes - may need the tissues to hand on this one by the looks of it xxx

Morning all,

Been busy in here already I see with some great pics. Thanks for freebie link FF - just got one.
Must remember the Times comp. Been chatting to DS1 who is planning a trip to Thailand and is going to see an elephant farm, James Bond Island and lots of exciting things. OK for some!
Hope everyone has a lovely day. looks like the good weather is finishing on Monday. Will have to get away early on Monday to make the most of the sunshine and shop on Tuesday I think.
