puddycats loving them
firefly - ours are in one big clump and look lovely. My clematis has buds on as well. I have just got a large honeysuckle plant as well to plant against the fence when it has been painted. We haven't got a rhubarb plant at the moment but would like to get one. I have lovely big heads on my peonie but the plant still looks battered from the dog. We also have a lovely lilac aquilegia in bloom which Fred put plant pots around to protect it at the weekend as its his favorite. We have a lovely lemon one as well.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
your garden sounds lovely sylv :j
hope you do get some rhubarb
i'm going to try juicing it again this year :j
do you grow any herbs? I grow & dry loads so they last me
all year & jar/sell them to others, makes a nice little 'earner'
they're so expensive to buy in the shops :eek:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
firefly - have chives and have some edible lavender but have never tried to eat it. Could do with growing some but would have to be in pots as my borders are getting pretty full up. We did have a vegi section but it was hard to keep up with as I can't do the hard digging as my hands are not too good and Fred doesn't particularly like gardening although he loves admiring it.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

firefly - did you win a hazelnut tree then?
Don't remember that comp but you will have to watch out as you know how much the squids like their nuts :rotfl::rotfl: love the chives too. I love basil as well so might start a herb garden soon. You have got me interested now. Love fresh mint on new pots as well.
iluvcats - got two boxes delivered and won a 3rd dog bowl yesterday for DD's dog. A few weeks ago I couldn't win one.:TBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
