Hope everyone is having a nice day and the sun comes out for them.
We have had a little walk as DH was getting his hair cut so we walked there and as it doesn't take long to cut it I just waited and walked back.
Got loads more washing out but still haven't started the ironing. Going to have lunch first I'm starving.
Have got some plants to put in the borders later and will have to check on neighbours Begonias - they left them in a cold frame saying if it got hot maybe we could water them every 5 days or so! Poor little things are drying out something awful but don't want to move them out of the frame. They are coming up really quickly though. Watering them every second day at the moment.

Glad you job went well wingo.

    Hello everyone :hello:

Sorry about the weather changing since I cleaned the windows :o
If it's any consolation it's really grey here now and getting quite chilly. :(

Sheils - you seem to be getting the best of the weather there. Hope it spreads over this way soon :D

I've made a chilli for tomorrow as I'll be out for quite a bit of the day, hairdressers first thing, then off to Berwick on Tweed shopping, and I think it's better if it's made in advance then left for a day or two :)
Got all the housework done that I wanted to so I'll be able to watch the tennis guilt free this afternoon :D

Wingo - really glad the job went well. Shame about the migraine though :( Was Jasper a good boy?

Weren't the trees from Velvet? I remember I got one but the poor thing was in such a state when it arrived it never came to anything although I did my best with it. Such a shame, I felt really sorry for it

Sylv, hope you and GD enjoy yourselves at the Life Centre :)

Hope you all have a great day :j
and sorry again about the weather :o xx

Jasper was a good boy yesterday, he left my sheets alone! :)

Glad you had a nice walk and the sun is still shining for you Sheils :)

Hubby gone to town for clothes no doubt! If I asked him to go into town he moans!

Hellooo! Just popping in!! Love and best wishes to all :A's

ILC - You may have two mices! Man and wife? Maybe one has met its demise and the other is still looking for food .... they may have babies!:eek: Best thing I ever got re mice in garage who used to come in, in the cold weather and make nests out of everything (bit larger than my wee field mice who stay outside) ........ humane traps - plastic long rectangular things ..... put food at the end ..... in they go and little trapdoor shuts.

We released them in the wild (managed to get all) ...... usually chuck spiders etc over neighbours fence but thought I would be chancing my luck re mice :D

Love herbs ff - have wee herb patch too. Had the best fishcake I have ever tasted last night ...... responsibly sourced fish - parsley source in the middle - had it with new pots and peas.

Have one left to devour in the fridge, so may have that tonight.
Along with the errm very very large box of maltezers that my family brought me - nearly finished them ...... :o:o:o

Finger still quite painful though bruising is going down, tho did manage to bang it yesterday by accident!!!! Ouch :o

Lovely family came down last week and I was treated to the most wonderful meal, next day we had fab bbq in the garden. :):) They helped me (or rather they did it) to take out some awful fittings in the kitchen. I am so very pleased. Just sorting out remaining cupboards at the mo and looking to get a second hand dresser etc, which will be lovely for my bits and pieces and keep renovations fairly cheap as it were.

Your windows didn't affect our weather walwin! I won't risk washing mine though :D In a dilemma now as weather looks perfect for here and The Lakes look like they will get showers the next two days. Think we might defer the Ullswater cruise as although we use Tesco Tokens it does use £30 of them and I like it to be perfect when we go. Will check the forecast again later.

    I didn't win a tree wingo.

Glad you had a nice time with the family Alfie.

Hey everyone. We had a viewing of a house today. The location was fantastic and it had a lovely big garden. It was a 1940s house and it had a larder too! It was actually quite lovely. It needed alot of decorating but we could have done that gradually. Unfortunately, the house doesn't come with any parking and there isn't a guarantee of getting a parking space. There is quite a long way to and from the car so we had to turn it down as the M.E can't cope with that distance. :(

    Hi everyone.

We have had a lovely but expensive day out in Newcastle. The Life Centre was well worth going to, I am sure your kids would love it Wingo. There is plenty to do and see.

firefly - when I said about joking I meant that it was probably a joke about the having spare time. I would really love to hear about it all.

L.M. sorry the house was too far away from the road for you and hope something else comes up soon for you and your lovely family.

Sheils - it has got brighter here as the day has gone on but rather cold. Hope it is nice tomorrow and we will probably go to Seaton for the day and may be be naughty and have fish and chips.

Hope you all have a lovely evening.

LM ..... it can sometimes be disappointing house hunting, I can recall those days years ago ...... but you will find a wee house that suits all your needs - it's out there waiting for you and your wee family xxxxx Best wishes xxxxxx

Just been clearing kitchen cupboards and larder - into the dark depths :eek:

Errm - quite a lot of stuff that is past its sell by date, hadn't realised, still all done now

However, had a good clear out, feel so much better now, all sorted and clean and sparkling!! :D

Cat not awfully impressed - she has retired upstairs to her favourite cozy bedroom to send up the zzzzzzzz's!!!! Alf xxxx
