I never realised you had to make two paid calls to get free w/end calls! I try not to use my home phone as much but hubby does. It's our doctors that are the worst, it's an 08 number you have to phone first then you get put in a queue which is just a nightmare! Last time it cost 74p.

With BT if you don't have two paid calls in the month they charge you £2! We are having a nice cheap time as we have free internet for 6 months and have paid the rental for the year upfront at a good saving. Used to pay £3.45 a month for "free" week-end and night time calls but now get free weekend calls as long as we make two charged calls. Internet used to be £18 for 60GBs but will be £16 for unlimited when we start to pay.
It is dreadful that you have to pay so much to get through to the Dr. We can just dial direct to ours.

Our dr's used to be like that but they changed it and its terrible trying to get through now!
I am on with virgin and pay around £45 per month in all for b/band and phone. That's without hardly using phone too! :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

SHEILS: can only see a £2 charge for 1571 / Caller Display if you don't make a few calls (as above)
They have changed their tariffs. (Again!)

Anytime is now £7 for newbies (whereas was £5.15) RATHER SNEAKY.

I stopped the Anytime @ £5.15: so if I go back I am going to get stung! RUNTS

    Good Morning,

Sun shining away here today - think we are supposed to have a really nice day.
It is definitely in my conditions that I have to make 2 paid phone calls to get my free week end calls but it was a one off that we nearly didn't last month so not bothered as this deal is so much better than what I had before. Did miss the free night time calls but got used to it now and saving £3.45 amonth or whatever it is now.
Wingo that sounds expensive for your package. I paid £129 for the annual line rental and will be paying £16 a month for unlimited broadband so even paying for a few calls it will make it well under £30 a month. We make most of my calls at the weekend though.

Had a delivery guy at the door yesterday with a parcel for a neighbour down the road and realised that we hardly have any neighbours at home just now. They are all off on holiday, suppose that's what happens when nearly everyone is retired in our part of the street.
Think we will need to do some gardening today.
    Wishing everyone a lucky day.

I have just done the most boring survey ever about buying butter in Tesco! How they thought up so many questions about buying butter I will never know.

Good morning all. Good weather has well and truly gone your was Sheils as its wet and windy here AGAIN. Good luck with the garden Sheils.

Hope you get a good hair do firefly and get caught up with your postals.

We are off to town to get some shopping as we like to be out and about when the weather isn't good as it breaks the day up a bit.

Made good inroads into the comps last night so feel a bit closer to catching up. Its amazing how behind you can get when you have visitors. GD is coming for a week at the w/e so will be back to square one again I suppose but we do so like having her.

    Must get on

    SYL
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS
