Just had a WEM to say I had won batteries from Battery Force, need to see who posted so I can thank.
Alfie - I see you are in trouble again. Big hugs for you and hope it heals soon. You really must be careful.
firefly - sorry to hear your DH spilled his tea over and scalded his hand and harm. That can be really painful. Hope he feels better soon.
Wingo - I remember when the spiral perms were in and my DD2 had one. She wanted to get another as it was growing out so I saved up so she could get it redone which was expensive as she used to go to Vidal Sasoon. She rang on the way HOME to say that it hadn't quite grown out enough so she spent the same amount of money on highlights. I remember being really cross but when she arrived home she look beautiful so what could I say.
When I was young we used to do a lot of back-combing which seems to be coming back as when I was in the loo up the town there was a young lass doing the same. Sign of old age :rotfl::rotfl:
Glad to see you have some lovely weather Sheils/Indie.
Got some nice smoked haddock for tea so am looking forward to that tonight.
Just got a settlement figure on my car. Does anyone know if this is negotiable or not? Seems to me we would be better to keep the money in the bank and let it run.

Wouldn't think so Sylvia. Quite often a penalty for early repayment on loans and not worthwhile doing especially if you had a low interest rate to start with. Might be better putting the money in an ISA and trying again nearer the end date or letting it run.
Hope your DH is OK FF.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

 Oh ff, hope dh is ok!!! My mum used to have accidents because she was registered blind in later years. She tried so hard bless her but sometimes it got difficult, you know what I mean ....... so independent and then suddenly loss of sight - its gutty, and unless you have experienced it, then you can't really understand how hard it is! I have experienced it and am sending you my love and best wishes.MILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES0 -
well done Syl
No post / couriers / WEM / WTC. Nobody loves puss n me!
Stopped doing paid surveys as with some of them there were a lot of screen-outs (even deep into the survey) and slow award of points/vouchers etc. Pay-out tiers were too high as well!
No BGT tonight, good to have a break from it. Gabz catchy song: I would download it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jS97Y2Pntj4
Must get on, dinner/comps blah blah!
BT have sneaked in all-day call rates for new customers so no 1p per min evening calls. (and 15p set-up-fee per call) So 24p for a minute call!0 -

hopefully the above is click-able (last one no go)
Hope the mis-haper's are ok now (you know who you are)
Paying off loans, depends how they are pro-portioned and any penalties/admin fees. Often the interest is top-loaded, so early repayment isn't so fruitful as one would have imagined.0 -
