Thank you sweet pea! Can I use that legally? If so I will print it off and stick it on my porch - to be honest I get quite scared when I'm on me own and I was up a ladder decorating the other day and along comes one of these boys.

Not a good time to catch me, when i'm up a ladder!!!! :eek::eek: I wasn't best pleased and nor was he!!! As you all know my history and how careful I am having to be!!!!.:eek::eek: I would really like to put a stop to this. And I don't know why they keep targeting me!!!!! xxxxxxx

Martin recommends using them Alf and anything our hero Martin says must be legal. My uncle has them up but my mother doesn't want to. My bell doesn't work which is also useful as I don't know they are at the door.:D You really just have to say no forcefully though. (sorry but you do!)

hiya alfie, as sheils says you have to be forceful & say no to them, will help lots if you put the notice up as well x
when we lived in our old place I was always getting them
& in the end just used to open the door & say 'thank you, but no thank you, please don't call again' & shut the door x

AlfieBlue - I had terrible trouble with the amount of cold callers we were getting, it was daily and sometimes 3 times a day !!!
But I have the sign printed of from here (the blue one from the link above) and now I very rarely get ANY at all :T
So it definitely works, I hope that helps.

Agreed f**f :A xxxx Will get notice up and be strong. Hopefully if they see notice they will not bother me. xxxxx

If they do bother you just point to the notice and close the door.
