Whats Lamb Kleftico elle? We really enjoyed the food when we were in Corfu but can't remember their names. Stefado was one of them I think and another that sounded similar.

Lamb Kleftico, is slow cooked in the oven with oregano, garlic, peppers, onions, cinnamon stick and bay leaf. (Well my version is )

Stifado is usually beef and is a stew with lots of small onions in it and a hint of tomato in the sauce. OH doesn't like it as he's not keen on anything with tomato sauce.

You might be thinking of Souvlaki which is chicken or pork kebabs usually barbequed with lots of dried herbs on. MY GD2 loves Souvlaki and I always have to take back some of the herb mix for her

I love Greek food and do make it at home regularly.

Think it was soffritto I was thinking of elle. Lamb Kleftico sounds good though.

for them as when friends/family/the boys visit they love something different & specially something away from the English cuisine :j
