iluvcats - that was a good idea for frothing the milk well done.

Firefly I have finished the lawns and planted the petunias etc. Like to get a few pretty ones in between all the shrubs. Looks like most of them have survived the Winter so that's good. No didn't manage to get him out as he seems cold today so have left it for another day. I hate the strimmer, or it hates me, as the line keeps breaking. Need to get back out tomorrow if the weather holds to finish the borders which are not quite finished.

We have a nice piece of roast pork just coming out of the oven so off to get the veggies done.

I am being really lazy and having a Fray Bentos Steak & Ale pie with oven chips. Been putting off a main shop as we want to spend £60 to get a voucher and promised DD we would take her and a friend with us tomorrow after their exam.

FF - I am having same as you, jacket tattie & tuna with salad, OH is having Lamb Kleftico I made today with tatties. I also made an apple cake, been very domestic today for a change well seeing it's been raining here

Glad the rain has stayed away for you Sylvia & fire**fly so you can get the gardening done its been ok here today too, just a few sun showers. I was going to mow the lawn myself but ended up sorting clothes out instead!

Sons own football match was called off so just waiting for him to come back from school match then doing parmo's for the kids for tea. Me & DH also having a jacket spud fire**fly! I do love my jacket spuds! :drool:

Aw sorry you got rain today ellemm. At least it will cool it down a bit for you

I found it goes thicker if you add sugar to the milk first!



This will be handy for a crumble sauce topping too as less mess than with a hand blender!
