Evening all - saw someone posted about hailstones in May - I got caught in the worst hailstorm of my life today!

Took my Grandma to the Man United victory parade, got her settled in a great spot in her wheelchair when the heavens opened and the biggest hailstones I have EVER seen hit us from every angle! Had to run, pushing the wheelchair whilst holding a massive brolly down a hill Must have looked a right sight!!:rotfl:

Was a great day though, and I must say that the disability/inclusion staff were amazing, they took care of us like we were VIP's!

Morning all - it's absolutely p'ing down here and it's still not fully light. DD is coming over today so we can start planning the wedding - a bit scared because of her budget but my Dad's going to help out & I expect FIL will too.

Booked our anniversary trip yesterday - a few day's in Prague, then down to Cesky Krumlov (in the current Guinness ad) & then back to Prague. Was so looking forward to lazing on a beach somewhere exotic for a couple of weeks - need to win that now though.

Not sorry to be missing the weather back home. It was very windy here yesterday and the sea was too rough for swimming but it was still warm of course.

Nothing much planned for today. Must say I am missing waiting for the postie :rotfl:

So jealous of your sunshine elle! Every year I think the summers can't get any worse and then they do.

Great you have booked your break hamster. Never been to Prague.

Glad you and your grandma had a lovely day despite the hailstones Meow.

Must start getting DS2s room ready as he is arriving on Friday to go to a wedding. Expect we will need to meet him at the railway station.

Good morning everyone - not quite sure what the weather is going to do here today rain or shine. Must try and get the lawns mowed if possible before it starts, such stupid weather.

Well pleased today as we are getting a refund on gas and electricity as we have overpaid over the year.

Hamster - well done on booking your Anniversary trip. When are you going? Good luck with the wedding planning today.

Ellemm - glad you are enjoying your lovely weather and having a relaxing time.

Sheils - is DS2 just coming for the weekend or staying longer?

iluvcats - did you say you can get a milk frother what poundland? That sounds OK to me. Its amazing what you can get there but you have to be careful as some things are cheaper elsewhere.
