APCOA parking fine

I have just received a £60 (REDUCED TO £30) parking fine at Stanborough Park on Easter Sunday.
I didn't pay for parking not on purpose but due to poor signage and parking meters. They entered the colour of my car incorrectly on the notice charge.
Should I pay this, I have read so much on this forum about private companies not being able to enforce payment.
many thanks in advance

Hi - there is a lot of information about this on here and no don't pay it!!

Don't pay. It's not a fine. Only the authorities can fine you. This is a speculative invoice from a private company operating a protection racket.0

NO ONE should ever pay a private parking company ticket!

Colour of car is irrelevant - more important if you decide to appeal, is the lack of signage and the fact APCOA don't own the Park, and you can then take your appeal to POPLA and make APCOA show their site agreement/contract with the landowner. You'd be best getting advice from here to word the POPLA appeal to be strong enough to win.
Or you can ignore the whole scam and just play snap with the letters that you will see linked in my usual reply.
Your choice, ignore or appeal fully, as we are always advising on here now. The only exceptions are in Scotland (unless it's a hire/company/lease vehicle) or where it's a non-AOS member PPC in which case ignore is the only option.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ignore them.
The most the landowner can chase you for is the pay & display amount you should have paid.0
