No not a photocopy straight from the web-site I printed it off as it came, didnt make it smaller, it looks big but its about the same size as the one cut out from the paper, also I was able to use a £4 daily Mail voucher from the paper as well as the £3.50 printed one.

Has anyone tried to use the ones from the paper in Asda? Got to go tomorrow to use up those free cider ones and thought I'd try a DM as well if I buy a few bits. I've still got 4 to use - I never use more than one at a time - too chicken...Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!

My local Asda won't take ANY coupons but another one accepted a book voucher yesterday on a £10 shop. She looked at it a bit too closely for my liking but my comment that Tesco always take them swung it and she scanned it for me. Its worth a try.ELITE 5:2

I think this will definitely signal the end of the DM publishing book vouchers.0

I tried one today in Asda and it was accepted fine. This was the real one cut from the paper. In all handed over £14 in coupons off a £40 shop, I was happy. (Most of the other coupons were £8 worth from the Fresh mag, which I couldn't find in Asda btw.)

OK it's definitely a pot and kettle scenario as I use as many vouchers as I can but for what it's worth I agree fully with the above. I think they have nearly outstayed their welcome already but if they get hit by internet copies as well then the end is nigh. For what it's worth I'm happy to fork out 45p in order to get the proper voucher as they are without doubt the best vouchers around at the moment. We've probably all done it in the past be it internet, somerfields or whatever, I have but I saw the light (and more importantly the effect this may have on Mr T's voucher policy) so I don't take the pi55 anymore. Hope you don't think I'm preaching because I don't mean to, just think we should be happy that they take the paper ones.0 -
I'm with Chipbeck on this - same thing happened with R & R. We all love a freebie but multiple repeated use was bound to get noticed. My local (which historically has been great for acepting anything) has certainly been told by Head Office that DM book vouchers are a no go area in future and my favourite CS lady said that they are also looking at overall coupon usage again. The message hasn't got out to ALL staff and the evening/weekend part timers are still the best bet to slip the coupons through - although I'm now feeling a bit uncomfortable with doing that now that I know Tesco has said it must stop (I feel that I would be taking advantage of staffs lack of knowledge). Each to his own though and good luck to anyone still trying to shift a pile of coupons.ELITE 5:2

I too have been told the coupon policy is going to change to one whereby you have to buy the item. But then again I've been told this before. CS said it was the suppliers who are complaining that the items are not being sold yet the vouchers are being redeemed. Bought the daughter a birthday cake and some candles for £7 odd last night and gave in £5 in vouchers these were accepted no problem. However there did appear to be a supervisor watching me. May just be paranoia but I can't complain as has been mentioned many times you win some you lose some and if they do stop the use of vouchers (hope not) then we've hads a good run.0
