Used the ones from the paper for the first time today. Found them fine on the self scan. Did 3 separate transactions throughout the day for about £5 so got the £4 off. Needed the supervisor to authorise but like you say it was in the slot by then and she was great about it. Got chatting and she said the tills ask for authorisation if it is over a certain threashold but that she did not know what it was.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
