Hi everyone. It's been another hectic week at work as my Conveyancer has had a week off so have been covering for her. So catching up with the thread now.

Oopsie! 2 x £1 deodorants. From cheapy shops

Could have been worse! I was REALLY tempted by the James Bond opi tht I seen in tk maxx but it was still £10 even though it was in clearance

If it had been about £7 I'd have had a bigger oopsie, lol!

I'm so glad that I don't work near a TK Maxx now. Mind you I don't think there are any more of the James Bond collection that I would buy! I have wandered into Sally's a couple of times this week looking for the Theadora Pink colour but they still haven't had it in stock. Have repainted my nails this am and am wearing OPI French Quarter for your Thoughts with OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service on my ring fingers (inspired by your post, thank you).

Have just had a sneaky peak on their website though and see they sell Chloe Narcisse. This used to be a HG perfume of mine and reminds me of holidays in Florida when I smell it. I didn't know you could still get this and have tried the original Chloe on when I've been shopping recently. Maybe I'll get some.
UU Mitchum deodorant WBA HG but this can had a dodgy spray, it kept coming out from underneath so I got deodorised fingers at the same time. Glad it's finished! I have got a Lidl deo to try next to see if its any good.

I've given up on the Mitchum stick I was using as it drags my skin too much. Have purchased a Vaseline roll on this week. Whilst the deodorant seems fine the top won't stay on for some reason so it may end up drying out before I finish it.

I've also been making an effort to rotate my makeup and to try new combinations, so today at work my eye makeup was quite different to the usual. Instead of two shadows and heavy liner I used No7 stay perfect eyeshadow in innocence on the brow bone and mink over the lid, then used a bodyshop neutral brown shimmer on the outer half of my eye and followed up with what I believe is bodyshop eyeshadow in paprika (a golden brown highly shimmery shadow) in the crease, extended out a little and wet on a small eyedefiner brush on top and bottom lashes. I then used a very light touch of Bobbi Brown gel eyeiner in sepia along my top lashes. Topped with black mascara it was a light and fresh nude eye that lasted all day :o

I do this and make a conscious effort to swap my eyeshadow, mascara and blusher around every weekend ready for the week ahead. I've been lazy with the eyeshadow this week though as I've been going into work early each day.

Hope your feeling better after your reaction to your bath oil.

As a footnote, I'm loving the Benefit Boi-ing concealer I got to combat dark shadows under my eyes - its fab!

Same from me And hope you are feeling better after your fall.

Glad the Boing is working for you emsjune.

    I have ins to report

Two full size bottles of E45 body lotion to trial for Bzz and 10 sample packs to hand out to friends, I tried a bit of each lotion on my hands and they seemed nice.

I have been to TK Maxx this afternoon and have bought the following:

Philosophy Bakers Shoppe set - a lovely keepsake box containing Christmas Cookie shower gel and Sweet Creamy Frosting body lotion.

Philosophy Cook Book set - 4 mini shower gels, Old Fashioned eggnogg, Peppermint Bark, Hot Buttered Rum Cinnamon Buns.

I am on the naughty step obviously.

Lovely Philosophy haul dolly. I have a Christmas Cookie in my stash that I was looking at this morning and think I'll open soon.

    UU

Loccitane Hand Cream, Date Bouquet, 30ml - WNBA, as nice and moisturising as the Shea Butter but I am not sure i really like the smell!

I really hated the smell of this hand cream. Smelt very manly. Was so glad to finish it.

I've had a hand cream UU this week but only a small one. Had a sample size of Nivea Pure on my desk that a workmate gave to me. Was the size and shape of a Tassimo coffee pod so the product was easy to get out. Was very nice and rich. V impressed by it.

Now then on the topic of s&g. I was given a lovely big giftset for xmas and have been keeping it to regift because i wont be using the showergel and probably wont getround to using the body butter. BUT i really really REALLY want to try the body scrub. Do you think i will get away with just repacking themin a nice bag along with the sponge thingy and the hair wrap?

I'd say take the body scrub out to use yourself and regift the other items in a gift bag. Not everyone uses body scrub and I think if you were to remove a shower gel or body lotion it would look more like you had dismantled a gift set IYKWIM. Besides why go out and buy something that you already have in your stash?? Which body scrub is it?

Thanks for starting us off this month kiplingmonkey! :)

I'm feeling totally disinterested in toiletries atm! I think the obsession has turned to healthy eating, and buying stuff like... granola :)
    Xxx

Yes, we are back on the health kick and I'm supposed to be giving up alcohol completely to aid this but feel the need for a glass or two of wine tonight. Mind you, we did not have any Easter eggs at all this year so am not chastising myself too much for the wine consumption. Weighed myself this morning and have lost 4lbs in my first week so v. pleased. On the subject of granola we make our own. If you want some inspiration for really lovely low fat dishes invest in a copy of the Hairy Dieter's book which contains the granola recipe. We also make the compote in there and have granola, compote and natural yogurt for breakfast.

This week I handed in my notice to persue my jewellery business full time! So, absolutely no more new products. :A

Good luck in your new venture.

So now have caught up I have one IN and 3 UUs to declare over this week:-

IN - Avon Moroccon Hair Oil. Have used this one and am so impressed. My hair looked revitalised. Will make an effort to finish off the Aussie treatment first before using any more of this though. May be tempted to buy a couple of things from the new brocure as the lip stain/gloss combos are on 2 for £10.00 when they sell at £8.50 each.

UUs: Elemis Nourshing shower cream and body lotion. Again this lotion went gloopy and gel like towards the bottom. Have both these items in stash but don't want to use just yet.

Am using a bar of L'occitane Verbena soap in the shower at the mo and it's getting down to a think sliver. Unfortunately as I've kept it for so long it has no smell really.

No plans for weekend apart from a work out today and a walk tomorrow. My sister is calling around tomorrow with Easter eggs (groan). Am going to try and find a new home for mine as I really don't want one. Maybe she won't bring it as she has not been very happy as I have not bought her one in return.

    Catriona - Well done.

Luvlycake - good luck with your business.

Valm - I need to get back on track with my healthy eating and exercise it has really fallen by the wayside in the cold weather, I don't go to a gym so all my exercise is outside, mainly cycling and walking. I like the cold but not cycling in it as I just can't get warm after.

I also love the Avon morrocan oil hair treatment, really good value compared to other brands too.

I had a look at the YSL offer but didn't bother, I have never tried touche eclat so don't know what colour to buy and I don't need anything anyway.

I have seen some bloggers have been doing a 100 day unnecessary spending ban, they allow themselves to buy things they need but not high end versions and they include things like coffees, lunch, magazines, candles, clothes etc in the ban. 100 days from now takes us to July, does anyone think they could manage that?

Valm - thankyou. It's the fruitigo set -300ml butter, 500ml wash and 250ml scrub. Ive never gone for s&g purely for the price tbh, so might as well try it.

Dolly - seriously? Ive not a chance in hell of lasting 100days!! Im a shopaholic. I earn more than the oh but i seem to have less money at the end of the month:rotfl::rotfl: just as well i refuse to get a credit card too! I currently have an obsession with thin scarves for some obscure reason. Maybe because i can get them for a quid? :o

Ive decided i'm going to take my nail polishes off the list because thats not something that will be realistically reduced. The same with perfumes as i dont have many. The oh has twice as many as me haha!
