It's not a bad idea is it? I have a really bad skin condition which started with a shop bought bath bomb. I miss using them, but if I know what ingredients are in them, I might be able to start again!

Got the results of a biopsy through and I have an allergic dermatitis. Not sure what I'm allergic to, as the only thing I haven't given up is wearing clothes! I wonder how long it would take to know if SLS is the problem?

At the heart there's only three ingredients - bicarbonate of soda, citric acid and water to bind. Its the smells and colours and flowers etc that are added that make the difference.

Is it possible to do skin tests? I had to have skin tests for common allergens when I was having investigations in to a sinus problem I have. They drew a simple grid on my arm, punctured the skin in each gris and rubbed in a little of each irritant. It sounds awful, but in my case I wasn't allergic to any of the common stuff so a bit of a waste of time. If you were able to try certain products etc like that you may be able to narrow it down?

Would you recommend a hot stone massage rosemary? (i'm guessing yes by all the smiley faces :rotfl: ) I keep looking at having one but never quite get round to it.

I need a new nude lip liner pencil, looked at the No. 7 yesterday, but think I will hang on until I have a money off voucher, I usually get loads and don't use them, but will probably have to wait ages now, I certainly don't want to do the 3 for 2, nothing else I need!

Have you tried BS's lipliner in beech? I have a couple of them and they work well for me. When I remember to use lipliner. Which is less than once a month...

Thank you for reminding me of the BS one, I had used it in the past, unfortunately, I am of an age that lipstick bleeds if I do not use a lip liner:(:(

  • I survived my shopping trip to my nearest city - I have lots of ins :

    2 lush shower jellies
    3 brightside bubble bars
    6 bath bombs
love lettuce face pack came as a freebie.

It could have been so much worse as I was drooling at the urban decay stand and was coveting some clinique chubby sticks but I did manage to resist.
I did however replace my Revlon lip crayon which didnt survive its trip through the washing machine last month.

    Also have 3 free ins
3 sachets of garnier moisture match.
    No more buying toiletries

    PPI Party Pooper
    Hello Ladies,

Its Friday night and I feel frazzled, too much work and not enough play I think! Nothing planned this wknd and I'm quite glad of that.

Starting the month off with three IN and two UU....

    IN:
Garnier Moisture Match Protect & Glow Moisturiser - Still got one in use but its starting to splutter, although I'm sure there's still be plenty in it once I cut the tube open. This was still on Introductory price in Boots so thought I might as well stock up.

Palmolive Naturals Nourishing Delight Shower Cream - Necessary as no shower gel or soap in stash whatsoever

Schwartzkopz Pro Styling Heat Protection Straightening Spray - Also necessary, the Tresemme I was using previously ran out a while ago and I'd been making do with a travel bottle I'd filled up with a bit of water... :o This was cheaper than the Tresemme so I thought I'd give it a go!

I've been growing my hair and I recently went for a trim after about four months or so. I don't know if its because the hairdresser took some weight out of it but it seems to have been wild since and wants to kick out rather than stay straight/slightly turned under - think I might need a bigger barrel brush to try and keep it under control! Its shoulder length now and the way she's cut it seems odd to me, its almost as if the ends are zig zagged.... Think I'll just have to ride it out and maybe go to a different stylist next time. She's cut it before ok though but this time she put it up straight afterwards, at her suggestion, I'm wondering if that's because she realised she'd got a bit scissor happy!

UU are Radox Radiant Shower Scrub - WBA - gorgeous smell and S&G Righteous Butter - just a small one, first time I've used this for ages and I quite liked the smell again after getting sick of it but I wouldn't BA on the basis that this doesn't seem to sink in very well on me, just sits on top of my skin which seems a bit pointless. I might open an Extracts one next as a treat as they're my favourite.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.
