So very true pacifica9. This thread is so much more than just a place people can save money. It's a friendly face, a caring word and a social hub of weird and wonderful people who can make you feel part of something amazing.
I love everything this forum stands for. Long may it continue x

I second that. And if something happens that you would rather not post in an open forum there is always the pm button. I now I have had some help from some lovely people on here in the past. Add to that the glitches and it makes for a wonderful community. My OH has only been using forums since we seperated in 2008. He uses a climbing forum and used to get upset by Trolls but he soon realised just to ignore them. My family think it is odd I post on here but sometimes this family can be more help than your own!!

Sorry, didn't post full information, multibuy 7 for £3 discount shows on the bottom of the receipt, but not on price guarantee.

    2 x Sheba Meaty Chunks with Chicken - Foil Tray (100g) £1.18 £0.30
    1 x Sheba Meaty Chunks with Turkey - Foil Tray (100g) £0.59 £0.15
    2 x Sheba Meaty Chunks Salmon - Foil Tray (100g) £1.18 N/A
    2 x Sheba Tender Pieces in Jelly with Cod (100g) £1.18 £1.00

    Morning mad squad,

Based on the above working out I think with the right combination we could be paid 18p to take them. I worked it out in my head so don't shoot me if I'm wrong.
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.

That's what I make it too. (I'm working it out and I don't even have a cat. :D) Maybe I should get one?
    Hope is not a strategy.

My DS is home for weekend but fiance gone to Scotland to visit relatives. They are getting married in September and she called about 11.30 as she has found a dress and wanted to buy it before midnight as price goes up today. So she rang DS and he got into a mad panic as she could not get online. So I was tasked with ordering it for her. I was really touched as she is an only child and lost her mother when she was 21. Made DS go out of the room while I did it. So exciting!!

Yes it is. The wedding is on a Friday in London so I am starting to look for accomodation for us as we will be going for a few days. Gives me something nice to look forward to. DS is very lucky as she is a lovely wee Scots girl with a good head on her shoulders. DS is driving back to London this afternoon so I am just sorting out some goodies from my stash to give them.
