... Or are regular glitchers on here all slightly OCD or have addictive traits and this is just the outlet?

Note - not having a dig if someone is genuinely OCD or an addict
I used to clothes shop for myself and the kids almost daily and buy loads of things we didn't need.
I now channel it to this but only visit a store about twice/three times a week.0 -

... Glitching blurs the line for many between "need" and "want"
If you factored in the time spent shopping (...and on here...) and the amount you spend on fillers (which you may have needed in future, but probably not now or in these quantities), trying items you would not normally buy as they are "cheap" and fuel, it can become quite an expensive hobby. It can be fun and give you a buzz too.

I actually used it to oil my sheers last 'summer' as I didn't have any wd 40. It worked pretty well
I remember years ago reading a 'reader's tip' from Take A Break which was to coat your garden spade in baby oil and then put it in a bucket of sand to clean it. I always wondered how he came up with that combination :rotfl:Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -
