... Or are regular glitchers on here all slightly OCD or have addictive traits and this is just the outlet?

Note - not having a dig if someone is genuinely OCD or an addict :)

I used to clothes shop for myself and the kids almost daily and buy loads of things we didn't need.
I now channel it to this but only visit a store about twice/three times a week.

I've had to start getting flumps as a filler again. My dd has taken a liking to them. I'm veggie so I don't eat them but at 10p she can have one now and again ;)

I'm saving mine for Halloween, they have a long enough date and as another veggie I know I won't be tempted by them.

... Glitching blurs the line for many between "need" and "want"

If you factored in the time spent shopping (...and on here...) and the amount you spend on fillers (which you may have needed in future, but probably not now or in these quantities), trying items you would not normally buy as they are "cheap" and fuel, it can become quite an expensive hobby. It can be fun and give you a buzz too :).

I actually used it to oil my sheers last 'summer' as I didn't have any wd 40. It worked pretty well :D

I remember years ago reading a 'reader's tip' from Take A Break which was to coat your garden spade in baby oil and then put it in a bucket of sand to clean it. I always wondered how he came up with that combination :rotfl:

what a brilliant idea, thank you. my lot wont eat the white mice or buttons but i buy them anyway, was thinking of melting them down and making cakes or rocky road with them but this idea is less work for me :p and saves me money in october. will have to go through them all checking dates i think :D
