Good morning one and all.
((Hugs)) to 3 Dogs and Logie, hope your day is going to be a better one.
Im off sick and managing to read and keep up for a change, may just have to go and spend some of my (oopsie large) APGs away from my area, however its a 80 mile round trip.
I cant take anyone with me due to sweating, coughing, sneezing etc.
My reasoning is I have a top to return to Debs, cost me £35 and if I dont get it back soon they wont accept it back.
Im sure you can all see my reasoning, cant you?
80 miles:eek: You need to move:D0 -
Morning all
Dad is more comfortable nw he has a catheter(ouch) as he hadn't been for 24 hours, nurses marked him as getting up to toilet
Had to have a firm word with them as this is impossible in his situation, they took the notes and wouldn't bring them back.
He even left the hospital yesterday, he was delirious and got him self dressed and walked right out to see if he could see his car!!!
Nobody saw or challenged him, but mum arrived and found him.
They thought he was a bit senile so treated him as such, he worked all day monday and was even chopping logs in the afternoon, I had to explain that he works more hours than me!!!!
Sorry, rant over.
Hope we all have a peaceful, productive day. much love
This is disgraceful, I am so sorry you are all (including Dad) having to go through this. We decided as a family to stay with my Dad 24 hours a day to do what was needed for him as we didn't trust the nursing care he was receiving.
An urine, or other, infection can make you delirious, it can have quite an effect on the mind, temporarily thankfully.
((Hugs)) to you and your Dad.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
Good morning everyone
Artha, sometimes I think the reductions sticker is read by the till as being that price, per kilo, rather than that price per item. Then you see the huge reduction, as in the plums going through at just 2p
Have a very good day everyone, more glitching hopefully!
I think that's what I was trying to say but not very well..:rotfl::rotfl:
I see it quite often with loose bagged pears and apples.Awaiting a new sig0 -
Don't know if anybody posted but BHS have a flash 24% off sale which takes the discount off of already discounted items. There is a code for free delivery if you don't want to spend over £30 (which automatically gives you free delivery).
P.S. It finishes at 12.00pm today and remember and go through TCB/Quidco too.Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -

It's only a 60 mile round trip for me to get to Aberdeen for a decent Asda and Tesco. Went to the Beach one not long after it opened and asked if they had such and such. No was the answer - we are only a small store! It's not that small! Dread to think what a large store is.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

... Or are regular glitchers on here all slightly OCD or have addictive traits and this is just the outlet?
Anon
Note - not having a dig if someone is genuinely OCD or an addict0 -
I know I don't post much but I'd like to thank you all for helping me to cut my food bill while hugely improving the quality of the food we're eating. I've made a few rookie mistakes (buying the wrong variety etc) but I can afford to swallow the cost because of the money I'm saving.
I'm yet to find a glitch myself - I'll share if I do - but really apreciate the generosity of those who do and share the information.0
