I used to clothes shop for myself and the kids almost daily and buy loads of things we didn't need.
I now channel it to this but only visit a store about twice/three times a week.

Me too, but for a different reason, I have eaten so much free chocolate/bisc/crisps that I have grown and am not enjoying buying clothes nowadays.:eek::eek:

Yes thats what I think too :p How many others here are having rows with family members who simply don't understand that glitches like this are few and far between and we need to seize the moment and take full advantage? FIL accused me of being obsessed when I kept reading this forum and looking at MSM on my phone and OH keeps banging on about all the extra food in the kitchen which I haven't had time to tidy away yet and its blocking the microwave. I find it really irritating as I just want to get on with my glitching in peace

You'd be amazed at the birds we get in my garden here. We're on the edge of a national park plus this country is right where loads of overwintering birds head back north this time of year.

I should get to know their names a bit better.

Yesterday we had this strange little flock of birds eating something on one of my evergreens, reddish heads with a tuft, about the size of a starling but prettier, maybe 15 of them.

Then a couple of cute birds about the same size as a wren but in looks more like a pied wagtail without the long tail, eating something on one of my pear trees.

Loads of others such as woodpeckers incl some great big green fellers as well as the common ones.

All seem to be in a hurry to get the family going right now.

    A birder would love it.

    Sounds amazing.

    Could they have been waxwings?

I have seen flocks of them on the east coast during the recent harsh winters and food shortages further north.

Squiz is abroad somewhere, so possibly not waxwings. Not that I know anything about birds, but your link says UK.

Squiz, it is almost like you are dropping clues to identify your location.

On the edge a national park, within the Avios reward flight distance, non-english speaking, where over-wintering birds (whatever that means) head north......haven't got a clue!

    Hope everyone is doing OK.

You might want to keep those eyes open if you go to Sainsbees. Shed loads of baking items were on super clearance. I am talking little packs of raisins and currants and almonds and little coloured edible stars etc at 5p each. Someone had obviously cleaned the store out before me but I managed to get a few things.

Thanks to all for the lists and tips re: cheese and biscuits. Got some yesterday and hallelujah, it worked (unlike the Nivea which totally backfired on me last week!). Keep up the good work all and thanks again everyone.
