I once walked to the local shops and back with an odd feeling in one shoe only to discover there was a half dead mouse in it when I took them off:eek:. It was presumably one that had taken refuge in there after being brought into the house by our late cat:eek::eek:

So it was alive when it went into your shoe.

And you squashed it to death:eek:

    And then blamed the cat:eek:

my OH is 6'3'' and is terrified of the little !!!!!!s! We used to get loads in the house until her heard that if you put conkers in the corners of the rooms they don't come in.....I was very skeptical but he did and we honestly haven't had any in the house since....

Don't tell him but that's an urban myth although one of the girls in work is trying out one of those things you stick in a plug point which vibrate the wires? to keep them out and so far so good :D

Went planter shopping, no shops open :rotfl: Power washed patio and paths and weeded . Spent a while working out how I could make the garden presentable and dog proof for under £3.70. Struggled with that one.
Pizza delivery for tea after all my graft in the garden could not be bothered to cook and then £11 carling from asda

    Yes I read about that.
Have you by any chance seen, stroked, or tasted any of the upper class Delmonte orange juice that my store is far too down market to stock and if so was it nice? Thank you.

I'm assuming it was well mauled by the time it got into my footwear and to be fair it was my old gardening trainers that I put on so it was probably well anaesthatised (sp) by then and wouldn't have felt any pain:o

well it's an urban myth which has genuinely worked in our house as I haven't had him screaming like a girl for me to remove a MONSTER of a spider since he put them down a couple of autumns ago :D I might have to collect them all up so I can torture him with one in a glass again...ahhhh fond memories :D
