...I know have a mental picture of spiders forming a drunken conga line outside pk04's bedroom...

That reminds me - I tried hypnotherapy for it once (obviously it worked well ;)) he got me to imagine a giant spider and then put roller skates and a tutu on it :rotfl:

There have definately been alot less spiders in my house this year. Usually around march and September we are over run with monsters for a couple of weeks but there's hardly been any at all.....it's the weather I think. No complaints from me though.

It really annoys me that Im scared of spiders. It really annoys me that it's a totally irrational fear. Im not bothered by anything else at all. Other bugs, mice, snakes etc I don't even know why they do scare me.

I don't mind having spiders about the place.. apart from when they build big cobwebs across the corner of the room that we don't notice are there until we have guests in the house:rotfl::rotfl: Anyway the odd cobweb isn't so bad as it traps flies which I don't like because of what they carry and deposit on food.

It's mice in the house I dislike:eek: Don't mind them in the garden, and we have quite a few, but not in the house...dirty:eek:

3Dogs, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss today. Words escape me and I don't think I could say anything better than all your friends on the Elite have already said.

I came across a poem yesterday which seemed to describe my relationship with my FIL to a tee. Perhaps you might take something from it too?

Feel no guilt in laughter, she'd know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to.
She'd hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that she is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safely within your heart

Thanks SFSB, that's lovely. Even lovelier is your thoughts
for Susan whilst going through your own bereavement. Another confirmation of being there for each other even when it's being tough for our self

Am I the only one who's never had any DTD meat. my store is so on the ball for changing labels.
Couldn't work out that postcode thing that works out how affluent an area you live in but I must live in a really rough place.
Yesterday the deputy manager at T's told me, with a perfectly straight face, that they didn't sell up market products like Delmonte Orange juice or finest range products as they were more of a savers range and own brand sort of store.
When I mentioned that they sold Tropicana Orange he said "yes but that is fresh." as if that should explain it.

I've only had DTD on meat once :( my store are very on the ball too...they re-sticker it now. There are also never any OOD SELS that Ive ever seen

What you need is DM. He claims to cage wrestle giant spiders but I think that's all part of his show to impress the ladies:rotfl::rotfl:

Can anyone that's been doing bzz for while please tell me when the cc points are sent out - I haven't had any on my card yet and my first campaign report was for the colour catcher in January.
