  • This poem was read at my mother's funeral, as we felt it expressed our feelings so well, hope it helps sfsb and 3Dogs.

    My mother died
    I was so deeply sad
    She was gone
    She was my mother
I was bewildered about how to proceed
Everyone else was going about the day
My day was filled with grief
I cried, My Mother was gone
    She visited my soul
    She consoled me
It helped but I still missed her
She kept up her vigil as long as she could
Then one day she said she had to leave
I knew this was true and I let her go
    My Mother has died
    I miss her

There have definately been alot less spiders in my house this year. Usually around march and September we are over run with monsters for a couple of weeks but there's hardly been any at all.....it's the weather I think. No complaints from me though.

It really annoys me that Im scared of spiders. It really annoys me that it's a totally irrational fear. Im not bothered by anything else at all. Other bugs, mice, snakes etc I don't even know why they do scare me.

Me too - just having a count of how many bottles of Jacobs Creek Shiraz I have left to see me through the night;)
Dont be daft just put a piece of raw meat on the landing and that will probably draw them out of your room leave the door open about 2 inches so they don't wake you on the way out though :D

So sorry to hear about your loss 3Dogs. Sending you hugs and warm wishes. Also, to SFSB, hope you are OK.

The Vanish kit from Bzzagent really surprised me. It actually worked! Wow. Thumbs up to them. Will definitely be buying it in the future.

Had a really busy day with cleaning and looking after the little ones. The sun even nipped out for a bit. Hello Summer!

Have a lovely end to the long weekend tomorrow all. And thanks again to all for the tips and advice you post on here. It really is appreciated. :D

Totally agree, was not expecting it to work. Was really impressed and will certainly be using coupons to stock up :)
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥

Just had a tidy up in my "food stores", Walkers still holding up well, down to my last 3 boxes of MT, last 6 FF, last 2 Vinnies drums and last 4 Vinnies squares, a couple of LO'Bs (oh, and another 10 Easter eggs still to go after those demolished today ;) ). Freezer still has a fair few beef and pork joints (pork today was lovely, thank you Mr T). Kitchen cupboards are starting to have space as we are working through all the fillers, even my Flump store is looking a little on the low side :(.

I officially have room in there for another major glitch :).

    Happy Easter everyone!

Am I the only one who's never had any DTD meat. my store is so on the ball for changing labels.
Couldn't work out that postcode thing that works out how affluent an area you live in but I must live in a really rough place.
Yesterday the deputy manager at T's told me, with a perfectly straight face, that they didn't sell up market products like Delmonte Orange juice or finest range products as they were more of a savers range and own brand sort of store.
When I mentioned that they sold Tropicana Orange he said "yes but that is fresh." as if that should explain it.

There may have been one when I moved in - I had to throw a book at it :rotfl: but not in the bedroom

I never knew they liked reading.
