my OH has a bad habit of leaving boots and trainers in the shed. Usually because they're mucky and he CBA cleaning them. He found a trainer a few months back with a nest in it:eek::rotfl::rotfl: no mice were in it just bits of fluff and string and stuff lying around in the shed.....
I shake all my footwear before I put it on. A habit I picked up from my OH. He came back after serving in the first gulf war with a story about a colleague who had been bitten by a scorpion that had crawled in his boot :eek:........and said ' it makes you think, anything could crawl in your shoes ' so now we both sit there shaking our shoes before we put them on.....and the kids do it as well:rotfl::rotfl:
