    Don't tell him but that's an urban myth although one of the girls in work is trying out one of those things you stick in a plug point which vibrate the wires? to keep them out and so far so good :D

    well it's an urban myth which has genuinely worked in our house as I haven't had him screaming like a girl for me to remove a MONSTER of a spider since he put them down a couple of autumns ago :D I might have to collect them all up so I can torture him with one in a glass again...ahhhh fond memories :D

    Have you by any chance seen, stroked, or tasted any of the upper class Delmonte orange juice that my store is far too down market to stock and if so was it nice? Thank you.

    I'm assuming it was well mauled by the time it got into my footwear and to be fair it was my old gardening trainers that I put on so it was probably well anaesthatised (sp) by then and wouldn't have felt any pain:o

    I hope you keep your toe nails well trimmed artha:eek:

    I once walked to the local shops and back with an odd feeling in one shoe only to discover there was a half dead mouse in it when I took them off:eek:. It was presumably one that had taken refuge in there after being brought into the house by our late cat:eek::eek:

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    my OH has a bad habit of leaving boots and trainers in the shed. Usually because they're mucky and he CBA cleaning them. He found a trainer a few months back with a nest in it:eek::rotfl::rotfl: no mice were in it just bits of fluff and string and stuff lying around in the shed.....

    I shake all my footwear before I put it on. A habit I picked up from my OH. He came back after serving in the first gulf war with a story about a colleague who had been bitten by a scorpion that had crawled in his boot :eek::eek:........and said ' it makes you think, anything could crawl in your shoes :eek:' so now we both sit there shaking our shoes before we put them on.....and the kids do it as well :o:rotfl::rotfl:

    Don't worry pk. You are not alone in this. The men on this thread have the filthiest minds imaginable and twist the most innocent of remarks into disgusting one liners and taunt you for months afterwards:cool:
