Just looking on ebay local....again . this would be good for my stash in the shed but wont get it in the car

I have 2 of these in the garage and honestly, at that price I'd find a way to get it home. The ex managed to (one at a time obviously) fit them in a Laguna, in the middle of winter, boot open and car seats as far forward as they'd go. Not the most pleasant of journeys but it was worth it to be able to admire the aul stashes. Just had a look locally and I nearly spat out my tea at the price of them. Very MSE of me considering it was long before I joined here but my employers were ditching them so I figured I'd offer my services and save them the hassle0 -

Call me lastminute.com
Trying to open a cash ISA before the midnight deadline. Very few still accepting business, I managed to open a Tesco cash ISA online, now I need to transfer money into it. The only way to do it instantly is by debit card on the phone. I have been on hold for 41 minutes, but "we do want to help you" and I am "moving forward in the queue".
Lines shut at 10pm. What are the chances of me being on hold for another 40 minutes?0 -
I am glad you appreciated my music suggestion last night
it was tongue in cheek about "How much is the doggie in the window", and we didn't actually put it forward to the undertaker. Anyway, my brother would have a heart attack if I suggested it seriously
He is looking for some suitable classical music, my sister and I will look at dance band music as Mam & Dad did go dancing in their younger days and that is where they met, at a dance. Or maybe a Geordie song as Mam was a true Geordie and would not be budged from Tyneside.
When we were very little, Dad wanted us to move to S!!!!horpe for work, but she wouldn't, and then, when one of his brother's and their family emigrated to Australia in the 1960's, Dad really wanted us to go for a new life, but Mam put her foot down. She wasn't moving from where she knew, very much a home-bod my Mam, whereas Dad, having been in Merchant Navy, would have loved the life in Australia. She said to me only 2 years ago, in a moment of lucidity, "do you like living in the country?" When I said we loved it, she said "Oh I wouldn't. With nothing around you. I like it here". Bless her :AMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I saw this deal on HUKD (now expired) and took a punt on it

TCB tracked very quickly and in a matter of days was converted to CC points. The phone is very basic so you can't install the app but with a bit of bodging (very technical term) I have the O2 app on my Vodafone sim handset and redeemed the piggies this afternoon. Not bad for an £11 outlay, £5.50 in CC points, £10 credit on an emergency phone and a bag of sweeties
