SD have you tried crating the beast whilst you are out. I had to do this when my dog started destroying my new kitchen. I cable tied the new crate first to make it nice and strong on the corners and now I can go out without worrying what I will come home to. I put 3 padlocks on the door, top, middle and bottom and my dog is happy to run in there when I am going out through the daytime. Night time is another story though . Hth
Thanks for this flo unfortunately he is not into puddings x
I'd need a crate half the size of my kitchen for him.
He's great at night though, he gets his bedtime denta stick when in his bed. He stays there all night and even if I sleep in he'll not try to get out.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

They are about 6 years old and pretty basic! No offence intended lol
If I had to choose between upgrading that with (say) a £40 Windows 8 upgrade or spending the £40 towards a new PC, then no choice whatsoever: always buy the new PC.
No rush though.
I bought this spec off Bargain Crazy myself a couple of days ago for £190 (refurb)http://www.packardbell.co.uk/pb/en/GB/content/model/DL.U7HEK.001 and as you can see it includes a 20" monitor (must be worth £80) and a PC with Windows 8 installed, though the processor is just a workhorse nothing special.
OOS today but they come back into stock all the time.
Given that there's no rush, I'd watch out for something similar.
Having said that, the AMD processor in the one I flagged to you is highly rated as well - though you would be on Windows 7 still so one step behind. And £140 is a bargain.
I just found the Tesco receipt and I bought it 4th Nov 2007, so 6 years in this year.
I paid £299.97! (base only) :rotfl:
Thanks for the advice on upgrading Windows, I never thought of that. The only thing I did to this PC is put in extra RAM (about as teccy as I get lol), but it's served me well.
Are Packard Bell ok as a make?
I think I'll keep an eye out for the package like you said, or if I win a fortune on the Grand National tomorrow (:rotfl:) I may just treat myselfI Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

I just had a long discussion with my car insurance broker, I rang to get a renewal quote for my present address the price they gave was the same as last year  I asked about axa price matching but she said they didn't do that through the brokers and maybe I should ring axa direct so I did and knocked £200 off the quote she gave me
. So much for being a valued customer, I had got my policy price matched through the broker lat year so don't know what's changed this year. Well they've lost out on my business this year.
