My dad left his body to medical science, he told me since I was little he was going to do this, but I really struggled with the idea :(.....I've come to terms with it now but struggled in having the long time between him dying and me laying him to rest. sorry Thats me off on a tangent......although I do think the 2 are connected. My dad believed that a body was just a body. He was very much practical and not religious at all

I believe that once you have died your soul no longer needs to be attached to your body. So the soul can be watching over you with love, irrespective of whether the body is in the ground or in a science lab.

    Good morning :)

Hugs to everyone, not just those that are suffering at the moment, but to all who offer help and support too.

I originally signed up just to say thanks to everyone for such a warm supportive thread. You really are a fab bunch and it is so heartwarming to witness so much care when you see and hear so many bad things happening everywhere.

Hope everyone has a calm day today - unless there is a glitch and you all madly dash out the door

I think it's the same thing. You get c/b from LS but they redirect the sub to the magazine's publisher so that's why Dennis shows up in your DD

After my usual morning catchup I so agree with this quote above:Tthe day the 11+Elete thread was created it has helped so many of us in different ways.Obviously the main aim was to save us money but it has gone far and beyond that and helped us of load our worries and share our happiness as well as the sadness in our lives which happens to most of us at some point in time .So I am truly grateful to be able to say I am a small part of a very Elete Family:A

Sending love and Hugs to all the Elite Family:)

I'm with you there, my MIL visits FILs grave a lot which is understandable, but I don't see him there and I don't see my mum as at the crem, hence I don't visit just do my own thing.xx
