  • The damp people went in and have estimated about £3000 for damp proofing!

on a positive note upcycling a bench for the outside of the new house, and first coat looks good!

had a couple of enquiries on gumtree about some of the furniture but seem to come to a bit of a stand still! :(

    Hi

I have just started a diary too to keep me on the straight and narrow think if I have to post I will put more effort in :p

£3000 for the damp proofing that's not so good would you not be able to get anything knocked off the asking price in light of this?

Good Idea it's keeping me motivated to sell stuff, little worried we will be moving just in a supermarket trolley as we won't have anything left to move to justify a removal van!:rotfl:

and have spoke to the estate agent about it and have another company giving us a quote so will go from there!

Good luck with the estate agent and the quotes.

Re the selling- I packed up some stuff and sent it to music magpie last week I know I would have got more if I had ebayed it but it just seems like too much hassle.

Maybe need to change my way of thinking that could be a few quid more off my mortgage
  • I know ebaying is hard work! i have just sold the last of my ebay pile! thankfully.

I do have to keep reminding myself that every penny saved i will be able to pay off the mortgage.

I have someone coming round this evening, and hopefully will buy one of the wardrobes.

Right sitting here won't get anything done up and up and away!

£59 is a fab amount to add to the pot - keep it up and be motivated!
