New customers only ???, but existing customers can use a new customer quote. They're currently the cheapest for me. If the 10% discount is genuine and covers the cost of a camera I'll probably fit one.
If I fit one I'll definitely post you tube links on here so you can all applaud my perfect driving. :rotfl:0 -
Direct Line weren't willing to give me a discount. I did ask.0

I would not insure myself with Swift Cover for a 10% discount, there again I would not cover myself with them if they gave me £5000 -

Lots of unusual small print, very poor customer service and poor claims service.
Google them or do a search of MSE to see their reputation0 -
I'm insured with a company called Markerstudy, they supply the dashcam and someone will come to your home/office to install it.
Their rates are quite competitive, however at the moment, I don't feel I'm saving anything being with them, since I usually have to take time off work to have the camera fitted and removed whenever I change cars! (I think you have to pay approx. £150 if you keep the camera).
Nevertheless, if I do have a non-fault accident, and the video evidence clearly shows this, and the case is solved quickly, then it's probably worth it.0 -
I can really recommend this one, it is small and very discrete and has a GPS. Had one fitted for a year now. Playback links to Google maps so you can see exactly on the map where the current image is of, and the image is excellent.

The customer service by these people is outstanding.
Don't get a discount from the insurance company, but I like the comfort of being able to be able to prove the cause of an accident.
Also, it has been quite helpful in restoring my piece of mind on the odd occasion I thought I might have gone through a speed camera a bit to fast, by being able to review the journey, and check the speed.
It's also been handy in resolving the odd disagreement with the other driver in the passenger seat.0 -
I can really recommend this one
The model you link to now has an updated model, the 0803. Among other enhancements it has much improved night vision.
