NSD # 13 / 15 for yesterday - I'm quite fond of the number 13 so proudly counting it as that rather than 12a ;)

I'm hoping for 14 today but will check in with an update later. I might need to buy some groceries (and I do count every day where I physically spend money as a spendy day - it works for me :D ).

Thanks for all the Friday wiggles yesterday - I was at my nephew's birthday party so didn't get time to stop by and have a wiggle myself. Well, I may have done some actual wiggles after a few glasses of wine last night :rotfl::rotfl:

Been turning my house upside down looking for my back door keys - I haven't been in the garden for months due to dreadful weather so I'm not even sure how long they've been lost :o

So, I'd be really grateful for a virtual search from my NSD buddies - fingers crossed that I find them or will be having a very spendy day to get the lock replaced :)

Dropping by to say I now have a glorious 7 NSDs!!!!

And as we start the downward march towards the end of the month, thoughts turn to the warmer days to come and in particular the Ennessdee Towers traditional Mayday celebrations. I do hope NSD gang members are practising their Morris dancing and maypole routines. Must sort out what I am going to wear....hmmm, that looks nice. A flouncy skirt with big pink and blue flowers, a white broderie anglaise off-the-shoulder top, and a flaxen blonde wig with pigtails and big pink ribbons....yes, the ideal outfit.

Just one thing wrong though.....I hate to say this, but...

Igor, the peasant maid look does not suit you.

Now, if you ditch the hobnail boots, however....

Afternoon from a gloriously sunny London :)

Purple.sarah, well done on your competition wins. Is there a special website you go on to enter these? I am interested :D

Fedup, great e-B*y sales there. I have 4 listings expiring today although only one bid on one so far but will keep relisting them until they sell hopefully. The increases in postage are preventing me from listing more until I am more experienced.

MissE, hope you have managed to find your back door keys!

    NSD 11 for me today.

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

Haven't spent as yet, and we're taking my family out for a meal for my dad's birthday tonight but it'll be funded from our joint account so not included in my challenge.

But afraid to say that I find I spend a lot less money when buying what I need (note need, not want) when it is needed and also have fresher fruit/veg by buying it on the day I use it than doing a big shop in advance. Buying smaller when I need it also encourages me to walk more so has added benefits.

You could buy fresh fruit, veg, bread etc every other day in small amounts as you need it, and still achieve around 15 NSDs per month. That's what I aim to do:)

The challenge is certainly not about not spending altogether but if you want to go hardcore you should have a look at NinjaSavingKat's challenge. That is much more structured and challenging and people seem to love it and are finding it is really helping them.
Oooh, I like a no-spend challenge (see my sig), where would I find this? Thanks:)

Evening all, just popping in to say I haven't gone totally AWOL. :o Not sure what NSD I am declaring yet, went out with OH last night to the theatre, tickets already paid for and then because the show wasn't sold out they wanted to close our section and offered us free upgrade to the Circle or Stalls. Actually chose the Circle as i like being able to look down on the stage and see everything going on without getting neck ache. Anyway, had to pay £1.50 for parking but I'm thinking about whether I'm allowed to include it in the ticket purchase spend - as one was reliant on the other IYKWIM? :o

Busy day today, went and collected some shelves from eBay - lovely drive even if it was mainly motorway, and nearly came home with two cats too (guy is emigrating) but as much as I wanted to say yes, I don't think resident mog would have been overly chuffed with the idea.

Then enjoyed the sun in the garden with a cuppa before mowing and raking the lawn, and then heading back out to get some food in (mainly for OH while I'm away) - did spend much more than planned although I need to see if the overspend can come out of the house finances or mine. However, I would normally do the big shop after pay day, but I'll be away then and when I'm back the following weekend I doubt very much food shopping will be high on my agenda so it's a good job the freezer is now totally rammed and hopefully that will balance it's self out with next months food budget. :A

Beautiful day here, not a cloud in the sky, and was listening to the kites calling while I was in the garden - there's a flock of them near us and I'm not joking when I say on a summer day you can count 20+ in the sky at once. It's amazing how low some of them fly over the garden too.

If the weather stays like this for the summer I'll be more than happy :D
