Thanks spoons for the update, good to see you back and keeping us up to date.
It's a pleasure Sazzie and thank you, it's nice to be back

NSD 2/20 for today, did pay out £1 for work wedding collection - but this was from loose change in bottom of work bag, and still have emergency £1 left ( feels like a cheat still )
My take on that would be... if you've allocated for "unexpected emergency spends", then it's already spent. That seems like a genuine unexpected spend to me.... however an unexpected craving for a large bar of chocolate would be something else:D Does that help?

    Need reassurance!

I spend less than £30 a year on my hair - trim my fringe myself, mum trims the rest and I colour it myself with dye on special offer. I've been doing this for a few years.

But, today I'm going to get it done at the hairdressers - it will probably cost at least twice the yearly amount! :o

Last time I booked an appointment, I cancelled it. It's the time it takes as much as the money!

I won't get it done again for another few years. Am I forgiven?
Obviously won't be an NSD today...

Of course you're forgiven, black cat, everyone needs a treat occasionally.

Hope you're happy with your new hairdo, that's the main thing:)

Re the garage thing, kerri, you'll probably find that, as your "normal" garage know you and your car, they can be a bit less strict with changing parts that may not need changing straight away - that's the way the garage I take my car to for her MOT works anyway. Hopefully Monday will be a bit less hassle for you.. what a palaver!!

Needless to say, I'm still stuck on NSD no 1..... more spends today:mad::mad: I'll try to be good over the weekend, honest:o:o

Have a good weekend everyone :)

    Evening all,

Crikey another week gone, it's nearly Sunday again!

NSD 320 for today..although would you believe it -another work collection for someone else leaving:eek:

Anyway luckily I found a pound coin loitering in my coat pocket, so still NSD officially but I think I will need to start collecting 50p's since £2 coins go for fuel, £1 for bus fares and 20p for car parks, then at least I won't risking breaking a NSD for the sake of a whip round.

Today will be spend but if I can keep it under a fiver it'll still be NSD, we'll see :)

Black cat, I am not a fan of the haircut thing- takes far too long and I have to pay for someone to 'do' it, when I come out first thing I dons brush it out :rotfl:

Have we made 100 yet. Must be nearly that by the end of weekend:T

    Good Morning again :D

Lots more NSDs captured and the front page is up to date :)

    I managed NSD #5 and 5-in-a-Row yesterday.

I am debating with myself as to whether I really need to go shopping today or not. I am going to try and see if we can hold out another couple of days as I can't think of anything essential I need to buy. I think it is because I always get my shopping on a Saturday that I am having such a dilema in my head :o Another NSD would be nice though so I am going to force myself to stay away from the dreaded Mr T :o

    Have a great Saturday :D

I have been gathering a little bit of statistical information just to keep us all on the straight and narrow.

Although there have been loads more of us taking part in the NSD challenges the past few months, it doesn't necessarily mean we have been doing better :)

In January there were - 124 of us doing the challenge and we averaged 10.64 NSDs each.

In February there were - 90 of us doing the challenge and we averaged 9.18 NSDs each.

In March there were - 62 of us doing the challenge and we averaged 11.08 NSDs each.

So March was our collective best month so far.:j:j

So, I am declaring a group challenge  Lets make April the best average yet :j So far we are only at 1.73 NSDs each, so get those nets out and get NSD hunting :rotfl:

Hope that all made sense :o
