    Morning All,

I really feel back on track with NSD's this month. Yesterday was NSD#4 although today will be a spendy day as I am meeting an old work friend for lunch and as she is coming to me (and hasn't started her new job yet), I'm going to treat her. I've booked at Prez£o as I have some vouchers for there so I'm hoping I will only need to pay for the drinks!
Saturday will be a LSD and if I'm careful Sunday will be a NSD so I'm back on track for meeting my target this month!

Have a fantastic Friday ya all!!

:j:j:j kerri - NSD no 2 added to the pile, well done you!
Re the garage, I’d be inclined to tell them you’ve found somewhere who’ll do the same job cheaper and see what they say..... there’s no obligation on you to go back but if you feel bad about it then at least you’ve given them a chance;)

Thanks Spoony - have been up early and cancelled garage, they didn't seem that fussed and said they'd return the parts they'd ordered . I have now booked it in with my usual garage who've I've grovelled to for going elsewhere and they're going to have a look at it for me. Depending on what they say / find / quote I will consider contacting Group0n for a refund, particularly as I don't think the previous garage did the winter safety check which was also part of the deal.

So today is a new day and at least the sun is shining :)

:j:j:j HAW - NSD no 1 nabbed now, that’s brilliant. Hopefully this will be the start of a few more trotting obediently into the pile.. you can do it! :T

I CAN and I WILL!! (Just not today :o)

I dunno about the trotting obediently... more like a 'drag both feet if I have to'... :rotfl::rotfl:

Race you to number 2 solventsoon??

    Happy Friday all!!

And yes I would also like to know how on earth The Boss had any choc left over too!!!

    Need reassurance!

I spend less than £30 a year on my hair - trim my fringe myself, mum trims the rest and I colour it myself with dye on special offer. I've been doing this for a few years.

But, today I'm going to get it done at the hairdressers - it will probably cost at least twice the yearly amount! :o

Last time I booked an appointment, I cancelled it. It's the time it takes as much as the money!

I won't get it done again for another few years. Am I forgiven?
Obviously won't be an NSD today...
  • March didn't go quite to plan another failure under the belt.

Like the AFD's I was debating whether to join in this month mainly due to a bad start at the beginning and that it's 10 days til DH gets paid.

But as I said on the other thread, I'm here and detmined to try again.

So count me in and put me down for 10 NSD's please.

i think the odd treat at the hairdressers is deff allowable - a friend does mine, I think I'd have a cardiac arrest if she stopped work.

Ohhh...use of the banned 'F' word....freeby get Jaws out :rotfl: Purplemumof2 - we don't have many rules on here, in fact only one ..is that we never ever use the word fail in this challenge. Sometimes life gets in the way and we don't quite make target, but every NSD is a bonus, and even if you go a whole month without clocking up any, another key aspect to the NSD challenge is to make us think about our spending, the 'what / why' and then the 'where can look to reduce unnecessary spends', or perhaps just be a little more financially organised.

Along the way there's tons of support and quite a lot of drivel - sorry I mean meaningful chat ;) so pull up a stool and join us at the NSD bar, although I'd avoid the daffodil vodka that Igor Nargle's (...errr, what is Igor exactly Nargle? House guest, butler, cook? ) brewed, it's got quite a kick - last time I had some I lost a whole week - although that was quite effective notching up the NSD tally :rotfl:
