Enjoy Good Friday xx0 -
Morning all,
Lovely and sunny here so I've loaded wm with all matress protecters, pillow protectors and valences as they don't get washed weekly. I think this is the start of my spring cleaning now the sun is out. Inside windows will be cleaned and stone walls vacumed. I'm making the chicken leek and mushroom pie for dinner, I was going to do it y/day but DD1 & DGD1 came to visit.
DH is going to mow the lawn for the first time this year and hopefully wash the car.
DD2, SiL2b, DGD2 and DGD3 are off to Devon for a w/end break in a caravan so I wont get to see them until Tuesday, I'm missing them already and they haven't left yet.As a suprise for them DH and I are going to cut their lawns and clean their patios tomorrow for them whilst they are away, the back garden is huge and they are not good gardeners.
REDRUBY, Sorry to hear about your dog and hope the meds will make him feel better.
Have a lovely w/end one and all.0 -
Good morning everyone.
Hooray for Good Friday, it mean I only had to work yesterday and that's it until next Thursday.
I'll be doing some ironing may poke around in the loft for a while looking for more eBay things, but essentially I don't intend to do too much.
Hope you all have a good dayEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Morning all,
:bdaycake:Happy Birthday to Judi, have a fab day xx
Thanks for all the good wishes for little dog, we came down to two puddles this morning, but she cant help it bless her, she is drinking so much, its bound to come out, we hope that once we have a script from the vets we might be able to get her meds online, which might be cheaper, but whatever, we will find the money, we just want her healthy.
Nice blowy day here again, no sun and bitterly cold, but great for drying washing, got 3 loads dry yesterday, OH's work stuff is in the wm, and I have some towels to do, both should dry well today.
We are having a takeaway curry for dinner :j we only have one every once in a while, and they are lovely, so looking forward to that.
Would like to cut the hedge and wash the conservatory roof over the weekend, these both involve OH getting on the conservatory roof, so will see if I can persuade him
Have good days all xx0 -
:bdaycake:Happy birthday Judi!
Morning all! Still freezing here, but no snow yet today!
Today is FILs birthday, so will visit him this afternoon. Have red peppers roasting for soup, that will go in tubs for lunches in the freezer. Not sure what to make for dinner, will think of something later, need to go to mr m's and use my money off voucher so will have a rummage in the kitchen and see what I can stock up to spend the £35. Right, off to empty the WM and put it on the airer, too cold and not much wind in my garden for drying out, the whirly is in a sheltered spot!
Big hugs to little dog, my friend had a diabetic miniature sausage dog, it was quite amusing to watch her following him round the garden trying to get a specimen to test!
Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Good morning everyone
Another cold one but it's bright and breezy so I have a load of towels and bathroom stuff washed and on the line.
Am in middle of clearing and cleaning kitchen worktops then will reseal the bamboo with wood oil, then wipe off and polish them later. The kitchen window ledge herb and salad pots are all starting to sprout. It may be cold but the sun is obviously working its magic.
DH is in the loft packing some books for Oxfam but I need to check if they are open today before wasting a journey. I have some bits and pieces already packed up in a box and some rubbish to take to the tip which is close by. So if they are not open today, will do all that tomorrow morning.
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Judi :bdaycake:
I hope you have a lovely day _party_

Hope that you have a lovely day and are spoilt rotten.:D0 -
I have been given 3 tins of prunes by my mum and I have no idea how to use them up as we don't eat them (as they are). Does anyone know of a nice cake recipe or something?:o
Bedding is in the washer (second load of the day) and I'm now three-quarters of the way through my first scarf. Just off to put some fruit bread in the bread maker now.
