I have today received my 4th letter (dated 25/3) pay £140 within 7 DAYS, re 'parking fine' from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. - NOTICE OF INTENDED LITIGATION - County Court proceedings. This only gives me until this Sunday and it states the amount outstanding will increase + £30 court issue fee+£50 solicitors+£22 sol.entry of judgement fee. Having read previous notes I have completely ignored everything but should I now be getting worried?

Don't worry. I INTEND to win the lottery this weekend, and when I do, I will send you the money to pay them off!!!

Might not come to pass, though, but could be more likely than their intended litigation.

It's a standard part of the threatogram series of letters you'll get, debt recovery plus today, zenith collections next who are DR+ pretending to be someone else.

Please read the sticky thread about the letter chain, you'll see yours there and you can see what comes next, they are nothing but predictable is this company. If you pay attention to the zenith letter, you'll see the same signature in their letter as DR+ one, the only difference is that they change names, oh and sex

diane,diane,please stop taking this seriously,nothing is going to happen other than more loo paper coming through your door,its just a SCAM,,worry not, this is how these cowboys work, hoping you will believe that it really was a ,,parking fine, which it was not,so relax now.

i know how you are feeling; i have been there but you need to hold your nerve; they are banking on you caving in by the scare tactics. bin it and forget about it; i stopped opening them in the end and they stopped coming soon after.

Surely you have already seen those pics when reading this forum when you first came here? You should just be laughing at the DRP and Zenith letters as they arrive.

I had the notice of intended litigation on 21st March, was never given the so called 14 days to pay before I got a court claim (28th March), now trying to work out a defence for it. When it came through it included a court charge as well as interest on the fine...now standing at £175! It does seem these people are changing tact!

I already have a thread, was merely pointing out that the 14 day to pay thing is also a scam because they don't give you 14 days before the documents drop through the door...

I hope you have gone to pepipoo hor help on making the defence, even if its only for them to wee what you have written and fine tune it. Do not take advice off line fron anyone with less than a few hundred posts as the Wrong people look on forums to muddy the waters.
