    Hello everyone.

I fall into the hungover category, but chance of a lie in would have been good. I was in bed at 3am, then woke up at 5:30, then again at 7, so got up with my sister and nephew, and came home for about 11:30ish. I enjoyed most of the night out, but didn't particularly enjoy the long wait for our mini-bus, being last to be dropped off, or having to climb over my mum and dads electric gate cos the key pad and intercom wouldn't work, and we didn't have a phone to ring and get them to let us in. But the greasy cheeseburger and chips, cheesy dancing and silly games we were playing made it a fun night.

Back to reality today. Food shop done, and DH put away the baby swing for me so we have more room in the living room now. Not a lot else will be done by me though today, and i will start again when i feel better tomorrow. We also had lunch out at the ASDA cafe - very exciting, and tasty.

shirleypark big hugs to you. blokes sometimes develop these commitment issues and spoil your plans. DH was a git with me just before we tried to get pregnant even though he had agreed to the idea in theory. Blokes are sometimes enough to drive you round the bend.

lil-me hope the pup is feeling a bit better now

tinsel fairy where are you off to? Anywhere nice?

dustykitten hope the littlies are feeling better now.

big hugs all round to everyone else who i have missed.

Back on board tomorrow for me too!

ShirleyPark- so sorry to read about what's happened. Big hugs to you.
Wish there was some magic potion in a bottle for solving crappy situations which I could race across the city to you to help you get through this. PM me if fancy a rant/moan/chat.
    Take care.

Sounds like you all had lots of fun last night Michelle!

We are off to Spain, Lloret de mar, never been there before, but others I know have and the hotel has lots of independent good feedback.
Hoping to fit in a day trip to Barcelona too.

Dusty- hope your LO's are feeling brighter.
pollybear- did you have a nice time away?
lil_me- is your puppy ok after eating something she shouldn't have?

Right going to get that ironing board out now.

Thanks everyone. I'm sure he is going through some kind of mid life crisis, but if he doesn't want to be with me then I'm not going to force him, I really don't see the point.

It's just uber irritating as I ended up doing up my old house to sell it. I was half way through refitting the kitchen after a 7 year wait to be able to afford it, and I got made redundant and so sold it to move down here and be with him. There was more job opportunities down here for me than there was for him up where I was living, plus I wasn't exactly bothered about staying there.

And now, just as I'm getting bits of this house exactly how I want them, the kitchen is the kitchen of my dreams (well almost) and the bedroom is great. I've almost got the garden done, and now it looks like it's going to be a case of finish it off and sell !!

Next week we're going to tackle the upstairs bathroom, as it has some bits in there which are quite awful, but it shouldn't take too long to put right, the bathroom suite although it's a very light cream colour actually isn't too bad, just need to change the taps, toilet seat and the bath panel. We'll take the 2nd cabinet off the wall, and then it's just a case of filling in holes in the walls and repainting and a spot of retiling. We need to change the floor as well as the vinyl has a huge cut in it from where the new heating went in. Thankfully we are both quite handy when it comes to DIY, so doing up the house isn't going to be too much of a big deal.

I think I'll be going for the bare minimum of flying next week, just to keep the place clean and tidy.
