Morning all,
Bit of an early start for me, really awful nights sleep what with boozy folk texting at 1 am, cats scrapping and the wind - outside I mean. I'm at work for 8 for a few hours then I need to get myself tidied up before I go to Cumbria for 4. Can see me nodding off by 8 tonight.
Shell and Lil_me, it's fab having a bungalow! I often feel like I'm cheating with the weekly lists. I can hoover every room from one socket. You don't have to clean the house 'from top to bottom' either, just side to side. You've done well to be flying in two houses this week too, shell!
Well done on the TMA (I'm pretending I know what that stands for) Lil_me, the hard work has paid off.
Michelle, have you looked on the new pets forum, there must be someone in the same position as you. Have a good hen night too!
Shirleypark, I often spread the jobs over alternate weeks. Stuff like the oven, windows and the spare room. Take it easy this weekend.
Hi Maralum, you don't have to respond, we know your still here when you can be. Look after yourself.
And welcome to Lilmissemmylou, hope you find it helpful on here.
Gosh, anybody I've missed out have a lovely weekend doing what your doing and especially if you're staying in your 'jamas til teatime. You lucky, lucky things!
Gotta dash, catch up on Sunday night with you all.

Hi all,
Been flying LOADS over the last couple of weeks, but too busy to tell you all about it, although I have managed an odd peek at what you've all been up to. We've finally had several lots of people viewing the house, although none of them wanted to buy it. Still, we are now 'Company ready' in an hour, so it's been a good thing to do. House is now looking pretty spiffy throughout, although there are always odd bits that could be redone, it's a case of working out whether they are worthwhile.
I'm now setting to on the garden, bought tons of half price plants from my local B&Q yesterday (they'd over ordered and wanted to get rid of lots), so I've been weeding and filling in all the bits between the shrubs. Hopefully there'll be a bit of colour out there in a week or two.
Well busy day, more gardening, a trip to the tip and possibly a visit from a friend later this morning. First step, get kids up and fed.
Have a good day everyone!

Morning all
:hello: maralum like solway says we aren't expecting you to post much, you do rather have you hands tied up at the mo and snatching a nap here and there is more important than posting here, but having said that it is nice to hear from you
Hope you have a good trip solway, and if you feel like you are cheating any week then feel free to pop over here and give me a hand
Mermaid it sounds like I could do with your green fingered help in my gardenwelcome back.
Hugs to everyone else that needs them.
Right I had better get on with my list, starting with 10 ebay parcels. I have to get these in the post this morning plus updating my spreadsheets etc and I have to make a start on catching my business stuff up to date

Morning folks!
welcome back mermaid.
solway thanks for the tip on the pets board. I didn't even now we had that till yesterday, and i did a search, but all threads i found were all saying how dear this food is. Particularly as the other cat seems to really like it, and even though i covered the bowl when the 1st cat finished eating, the other flicked the cover off and scoffed the lot, so 2 tins out of 24 gone already, and i will have to find a quick solution.
DH let me have a lie in today. I can't remember when my last one was, so it was well deserved. Despite the late night Charlie was awake at 5:30, but then dozed off again till 7. I got up just after 9.
My plan for the day is to:- [STRIKE]wash like mad to catch up while the weather is nice and it can go outside[/STRIKE] one load done but it keeps raining, so i have emptied the airer and put the stuff on their
- do lots of marking
- do some food shopping
- spend some time beautifying myself, and [STRIKE]have a clothes trying on session to see what fits me[/STRIKE]. (not a lot i can tell you now, but i wasn't buying something new)3 posibilities so i will take all 3 for sis to choose for me
- pin the cat down again to give him his antibiotics
- have a cooked meal early so i don't get too drunk tonight
- [STRIKE]pack an overnight bag for me[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]get charlie's stuff ready for tomorrow morning.[/STRIKE]
- drive myself over to mums to get ready with sister
- then drive to other sisters house for about 7ish to have drinks at her house
- taxi at 8 into doncaster
- partying till 1
- taxi back to mums
- share a room with my 20 month old nephew, so that will be a lovely wake up call
- drive myself home earliesh tomorrow.
[STRIKE]fairly ambitious to say i am not even dressed yet,[/STRIKE] but that is where i am going to start next, once DH finishes upstairs.
hope you all enjoy your me time. This will be my 1st night out without DH like this since my own hen night which was about 21months ago. So i plan to try and have a good giggle. Sister went to buy some bits to wear the other day, so god only knows what she got.
See you all tomorrow.

Denise my DS has Autism, making the social things at school amongst other things very difficult for him. He basically is a fight or flight type.
Solwaykid, thanks :rotfl: thought that counts. TMAs are the Tutor Marked Assignments I have 6 of these I need to do to pass my course (2 down 4 to go  ) and 2 CMAs which are the computer marked ones.
Right to the days tasks, well spent the morning being a lazy moo :rotfl: have had to strip DS2s bed again after another wet night  so his duvet and everything needs washing, have spent an hour (with DPs help) sorting the pond inc emptying all 250 litres of it  then wiping and washing it out, have 2 dead fish and loads of green yuk so needed doing, just hope the other 2 survive.
Rest of the day

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I've achieved most of what i wanted to today.
DH and Charlie are snoozing on the sofa watching the FA cup stuff, which i can't be faffed with.
I've just ordered some food for the cat online. Another poster on my thread came up with a 5% off code for me, which is why i love this web site.
I've done some marking, and DH made spaghetti bolognaise, and has also got the BM on. I think i could probably do with a snooze again myself after a heavy meal, but i will do another half hour of marking, and then go have a bath and wash my hair i think.
Am i the only one who hates the thought of going out? I hate the hassle of getting ready. Will love it once i'm there though. I think it's cos i never know what to wear anymore, and it will take a ton of foundation to cover up all the spots i have at the moment. Time to have a bit of a detox before my sis's wedding i think - 4 weeks today.
Anyway, that is definitely it from me today. Will hopefully be back and not too hungover tomorrow
Michelle, x0 -
Just a really quick one to say have a great night Michelle and hope everyone has a good weekend.
