Afternoon all
Sunny and windy here so I have been up at the allotment for 4 hours - exhausted now!

Did get the wash on the line before I went and stripped our bed as I had not done it yet this week.

I hope to do the bathroom in a minutes but not much other flying this weekend apart from a bit of a hoover.

Next week going to try really hard to stay on track as we are going away for half term and it will be lovely to come back to a tidy clean house.

Maralum - glad all is well. Hope the sleep (or lack off) settles down to a routine soon. People seem to forget that its great being made a fuss of those first few weeks but thats when your adrenalin is in full flow, its after the first few weeks you really need the help so sending you hugs.

Well at work today but before I left I did:-

Put WM on - left DH instructions to peg it out
Put ironing away
Tidied out bedroom (everything now where it should be - bar box for charity shop still stuff to add)
Tidied playroom
S & S loo x 2
Made BBQ marinate for chicken (now all in fridge)
S & S Kitchen
DH said he will hoover all through so fingers crossed
Done meal plan for week (and shopping list)

Put slap on and straightened my hair:rolleyes: this took longer than above:p


Oh dont know if you remember me saying about the miserable man who collected my tumble drier that I put on freecycle - he actually emailed me to say he got it working so thought that was nice (so he was not so miserable after all )

The weather is awful here...

Went to Trevis Perkins to check some slabs for the Garden
It's only a short stroll away so didn't bother with the car....

And suddenly it rained like cats and dogs

We both were drenched...

Had a nice hot bath after that...

Just did normal stuff today....

House is not in a bad state...So we have decided that we won't do even a little bit of cleaning on the Weekend...-Just together time.

Thanks to all of you.. Earlier weekends were spent cleaning only...

Blimey it has been quiet on here today!

Nothing to report flying wise as we have not been in. Went to swimming lessons and managed to get them not to charge for lessons in the school hols saving me £24 , posted ebay parcels, uploaded about 35 listings before we had to go out, about another 15 to do now. Came 2nd in the ringing competition so fairly pleased with that, kids cream crackered and in bed zzzzzzzzzzing.

So this evening I shall set the tape for casualty and then finish relisting shop items, pack other sales and get some more invites printed for DH service. Mmmm need to put pics on a disc for my sis and print some of same four our montage.

But first I must print off anf frame pics for MIL's bday pressie, we are going up there tomorrow for lunch and need to take this with us.

Busy busy busy, have not put computer on so got more done DP sort of helped as he tippd a full mug of coffee over the table which he had everything on, PSP, laptop, car stuff etc etc so he frantically cleared it all :rotfl: good for some things I suppose as I'd been asking him to clear it all day, downside being he broke the mouse!! Suppose at least that was the only thing broken.

Kitchen looks much better, just needs a few things doing (mess I have made since doing it basically ), sitting room done, laundry 4th load washed will have to put that on airers, did manage to get 3 loads dry outside so very pleased with that Haven't made bread yet so will set a loaf away and sort kitchen at the same time.

Off for a nice relaxing bath after I have got the boys to bed, hope you all have a good evening.

Quiet day posting-wise, but I bet that's because we've all been soooo busy getting loads done in the garden (or making the most of the nice weather while we've got it).

Had another viewing today with 35 minutes notice :eek: ! Rushed round straightening things up like a mad thing as I'd been working out in the garden all afternoon. Don't know if the people will buy the house, but they did say how impressed they were by how clean and tidy it was! :j :j :j All the flying hasn't been in vain then :T (Fortunately they didn't look into the garage of doom!).

Now off for glass of red and put my feet up in front of a warm telly.

Evening all. Hoping everyones ok and just having a nice weekend being so quiet on here.

Mermaid well done, lovely when someone mentions it isn't it Hope you get an offer soon.

Well since my last post I've been on a mission :rotfl: Sorted ALL the socks, have a small bag of lonely ones which will be for the bin if their partners are not found within a week. Not as if we're lacking in socks, I've struggled to shut the drawers just shows when you put it all away how many there is, I thought the boys and DP were short of socks, well over 30 pairs each isn't short!!

After the sock mission which DS2 helped put away without complaining, sorted another 'underbed box' in my room, cleared the main things off the floor and put the laundry away. Bit annoyed when I came back down as puppy has ripped up half a pack of wipes and 2 pencils so have vacuumed the entire sitting room again.

From there tidied kitchen, made DPs food for him going away as there is no chance I am getting up at 4am to do it! Have put everything on one shelf for him so he doesn't need to get me up. Will bring his clothes downstairs aswell then thats done so hopefully won't wake the kids up looking for stuff.

Going to do a list for tomorrow in a bit, will probably post in the morning.

Well, ive done nothing today!!! Do have an excuse tho, my mum is here, so apart from wiping down the kitchen, and putting the DW on, thats about it!!!
Oh, i did do a load of washing this morning, its actually still on the line, but im going to risk leaving it there until the morning, the forecast is good, so fingers crossed!!!

I can guarantee if I do that, even if it's forecast for wonderful weather it'll pour down. Just my luck!! Well done for almost giving yourself a day off aswell, hope you enjoy spending time with your Mum.

Evening all, thought i would do a proper post before bed. Been lurking all day, i think like many people reading but not posting.

Today I have done the grand total of sweet FA. I had my me day. I sat on the sofa and did nothing but watch tv. I even made a list of things i have to do (apart from cleaning in the house, which is to follow Lil_me's list) and i have the grand total of 4 things on there!!

Organise Pl shirts and curry night
Mow the lawn and weed the garden.

Thats it!!! How???? It cant be true!!! I'm going to try and get out in the garden tomorrow and get 2 things off the list! Oh just thought of another - my car could do with cleaning.
