    Morning, I hope everyone's well.
    Lots of tired folks it seems, me included. I haven't posted much as I haven't done much flying. I'm blaming this endless wet weather - everyone seems to have it - it really dampens my mood. It's much more motivating when the sun shines.

    I have to say well done to the new folks, I hope you're seeing the difference.

    I'd like to promise a bit of flying this evening but who knows.
    have a useful day even if its just spent looking after yourselves.

    Morning all,

    Solway aaaaahhhhh, mousey! Maybe you can lend your cat to demonicangel, she has a sneaky susupicion that there's a squeaker behind her fridge! :eek:

    Congratulations to the DH's of lil_me and tinselfairy! :j

    I'm afraid I've been too tired to post the last couple of days. Lack of sleep and no flying progress, I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong, the house is still clutter-free, tidy and organised, but it's not clean. It's dusty, I haven't done the skirting boards and the vacuum's still on the blip. :eek:

    Well, will just write my own list for the day, the usual lists are a bit too much for me at the minute :o .

    [STRIKE]Washing on[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Vacuum throughout[/STRIKE] (if vacuum is feeling less grumpy)
    [STRIKE]Strip master bed[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Make Owen's bed[/STRIKE]
    S and S bathroom
    [STRIKE]S and S kitchen[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]S and S sitting room[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Call birth registrar[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Call Owen's summer camp[/STRIKE]

    Have a good day and keep on smiling.

    Morning all

    I managed to strain my shoulder yesterday - I half dropped a box of books when one slipped while I was closing the car door and I stupidly grabbed for it with the other hand ... Hurts!!!! and I still dropped the box ... anyway having problems lifting my arm up too high today so the cobwebs and blinds etc can stay as they are till next week!

    Thursday is my bathrooms day and cleaned the one upstairs after my shower so that one is done - sparkly sparkly :D taps polished - shower doors smear free. Just the downstairs one and thats easy as we never use the bath and this week I only dust it !!!! so only the loo and basin and odds and s*ds in there to do and it gets swished every day anyway.

    Kitchen S&S'd already so a fairly easy day today - still pouring here ... am inspecting my toes for webs between the toes ....

    Right off to do stuff and find some ibuprofen gel for my shoulder ...

    Happy flappin' !!

    Quiet day today - had to go into work when I normally don't on a Thursday and it's put me all out!

    Got a load of laundry on the line;
    Made bed (being thankful for small mercies, here LOL)
    Work;
    Got home and got washing in and folded;
    Spent at least an hour on computer with sister trying to sort airline flights for her;
    Cooked dinner (pie and chips after I found I didn't have ingredients for planned meal - duh me)
    Wiped light switches through house.

    Still to do:
    Transfer some money between accounts, and onto my visa . . . need to book some accommodation, but can't cos visa is full up.
    Check business account to see if anyone has paid yet.
    Pick up Josh from work at 9pm.

    Off to do dishes . . . see you tomorrow :)

    Morning lovelies! :hello: I'm back online (yay) and I have to say it feels great, but it's also been an eye opener, I'm far too reliant on flylady lists (incapable of doing my own) and hopelessly addicted to the internet :o:D So done no flyladying as such but been keeping the house running smoothly (ish)

    (((((((((hugs for everyone that needs them)))))))

    lots to do:

    Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area N/A
    Level One
    Clean floors in these rooms(even if it is around clutter)
    Level Two
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Clean bath, toilet and sink
    Dust PC and desk
    Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important)
    Level Three
    Clear clutter from floor
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
    Clean windows

    Declutter Mission Task
    This ones up to you, a drawer, a cupboard or even a room you have been avoiding, time to declutter it! Even if it's just for 10 minutes

    my list

    * load DW
    * S&S kitchen
    * hoover through

    Will add later

    Have a nice day y'all :wave:

    Morning all :hello:

    Well I'm pooped today. I had this overwhelming urge to bake last night (I think it had something to do with a friend asking about how to bake bread :rolleyes: ) and after a really lazy afternoon (I did nothing from 11.30 yesterday until 3.10 when I went to pick DD up except have a long hot bath and read Harry Potter & the half-blood prince! :D ) my body just doesn't want to move today :rolleyes: So todays list is going to incorporate yesterdays as I want to get the house done today (as well as the ebay parcels) so that I can attack the garden either tomorrow or at the weekend without feeling guilty :rotfl:

    Yesterdays list edited for today :
    • Dailies
      • Beds
      • Bath S&S
      • Dishes
      • Kitchen S&S
      • WM (cloths - from the otherday that I left in the machine :o)
      • EM - "leftovers" stew in the slowcooker already in the pot, just need to switch on and find some jacket spuds out the freezer ;)
      • Packed lunch
      • Uniform
    • Ebay
      • Invoice buyers who haven't paid yet.
      • Parcel up items to dispatch.
      • Dispatch parcels

      • Tidy / declutter
      • Hoover through
      • Mop
      • Dust

      • UPDATE MONEY
    • Master bedroom
      • Tidy
      • Hoover
      • Dust

    Morning all - I agree with Solwaykid.

    The weather is miserable and I just can't get my backside in gear. Everywhere I turn there seems to be dust or clutter or "stuff" - it's just so demotivating. Plus DS seems to have turned into a clingy (but adorable ;) ) wee boy just now. Sigh.........

    I think i might have to write this week off. Minimal day to day stuff to be done and I'll need to come back with a vengeance next week.

    Anyone got any motivating words???

    Hope everyone is well this morning

    Aww Tartan Mum. Housework isn't everything - other things are so much more important - but I agree - depression does set in when all is a tip around you.

    Hm - motivation....

    I usually find that just seeing some improvement - even if not vast - is rather self motivating in itself. How about a "tidy party" with DS? Choose a pile of "stuff" that isnt disastrous if he drops it and get him to sort it into piles - maybe by colours depending on his age - or Mum's & Dads maybe? then he can be usefully occupied ( very educational!) while you have your own pile to sort and you can have races and a prize of a cuddle maybe.

    Even LO's love polishing with a bit of "stuff" on a duster - they get under tables to do the legs REAL well !!! - while you can do the top so staying close for DS. Then you got a head start when he's asleep with all the flying he's done!!!

    Best I can do really :) Hope it helps

    Hi All

    Well now I've got my internet back I really need to get back on track. My house has really deteriorated since I haven't had you lot keeping me on track. Having said that I did decide to reverse into a barrier with my car last week and hurt my back and wrist slightly so I've been avoiding using them too much. Back's okay now but I've still got my wrist strapped up. All I've done so far today is two loads of washing and got absolutely soaked taking DD to school!

    For some reason I can't thank anyone, I'll ask why on the techie board, it just shoots me back to the top of the page so thanks to everyone anyway.

    Catch you later
