candle wax can help, or vaseline (those nice little pots we have for lipsalve). Worth a try?

Vaseline next then! Should I be greasing myself up or the zip? :rotfl: I'm starting to think this may be a lost cause... Diet starts tomorrow then!

  • I've been away, and only just seen this. Is it possible to undo the band at the sides of the dress at the level that the zip sticks? (does that make sense?). If you could let out the dress just at that point a tiny bit it should help. I'm concerned that even if you shimmy into it at the moment, the zip will break.

If you can let out the side seams only a smidge at each side it should give you enough wriggle room to at least make the dress wearable.

Thankyou to all the help on this thread, just thought I'd update you. I've been dieting all week in an attempt to make the zip easier to do up. Now the sides more than meet and can actually overlap when I pull the together.

The zip still won't do up

Crisis averted folks! With the use of Vaseline and a determined friend I've gotten into the accursed dress! I'm now scared to take it off again... :rotfl:

Hopefully will get into it again tomorrow, thank for all your help :D
