Is this still localised or from PNC? I recall once upon a time it was localiseddandelionclock30 wrote: »No you cant do an employers CRB check yourself, but you can go into the local police station and ask if they have any information on the police computer about your convictions or cautions etc.0 -
If it was just a teenage thing then simply put that information in an additional letter and attach it to your application/form marked confidential. Most employers will not care.
You cannot get a CRB yourself.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

As far as I know all the information is on a national database now. They had to improve information sharing after the Ian Huntley scandal. I know for a fact that you can ask the police whats on the database because I know people who've done this and got the results.
I think it depends what you've done as a teenager whether employers will consider you or not.If you've been an arsonist or a been done for a violent or sexual offence then they still wont have you for certain jobs.0 -
if i want to do a job that is self employed for example ADI driving instructor or any other self employed job then i need a clean record. Jobs like these dont have employers so how do I check the record myself before wasting £1000's on the course then realising I cant do it because I had a criminal record.
When I say criminal I mean convictions from courts.0 -
