I want a BAIRD Televisor. Where can I get one?
National Science Museum?
Look, people, the OP wants a genuine recommendation, based upon what anyone else has found reliable.
Personally, I have always found Panasonic to be streets in front of everything else, had my last 5 years and it is still as good as new. This is just one model I would buy next, a long link but follw it:
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Browse?storeId=10151&langId=110&catalogId=23051&mRR=true&c_1=1|category_root|Technology|33006169&c_2=2|33006169|Televisions+and+accessories|33008651&c_3=3|cat_33008651|Televisions|33017148&r_001=9|Brands|Panasonic|1
I also recommend that you Google "Panasonic TV" and choose one, then follow the link to a Retailer.
You certainly don't have to pay £1200 if you don't need to, they are falling over themselves to flog TV's now.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

The OP didn't mention reliability, only budget.0

I think i saw samsung 60" in currys for £999 as well. It was led(if i remember correctly) and personally i would prefer led to plasma. If it ever got to the point where i have no money to eat. I would go to the police station and break something to get myself arrested. Atleast i would get a warm cell and food and if everyone who get SANCTIONED by the job center did that than the government would have to change there policy about sanctioning so many people on the work program.0

hi looking to get a new tv for around about £1200 just asking what tv would every one recommend.
How about instead of giving the value, you state what you require - size, type etc and people will tell you what they recommend.
Stating such a high price for a TV sounds a bit like showing off - I have £1200 to spend on a TV what should I get.
A better approach would have been:
Hi - I need a new TV. Would like it be have 3D, Freeview HD, Samrt enabled etc, and I can spend up to £1,200 on it - any recommendations?
I will sell you my old CRT TV for £1200 - if your only requirement is price.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
tbh i'd be surprised if the op is returning, two days and no further comment...This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

This particular part of the forum is getting daft.
Starting to become more a personal shopping thread. Are some people that lazy to even have a look for themselves.
I agree and if they did buy the tv that was most recommended and it broke they would probably call us idiots for suggesting the makeOwing on CC £00.00 :j
