    Congratulations to you :T

I remember reading your thread when I first came on the boards and I was quite encouraged to see that other people were in a similar situation. Its about knowing you're not the only one in the same state.

One thing in your thread which rang a cord with me was the fact that you mentioned that none of your friends realised what your situation was which contrasted sharply with your percieved lifestyle.

Looking forward to see your post and your progress:cool:

Hi tolip, glad you posted.....I often wonder what happens to those who seem to be all embracing of the changes, then just disappear!

    Keep in touch x

Can't wait to see how you have been getting on! I was really inspired by your thread and have thought about how things have been going for you on and off over the period.

Look forward to hearing from you again.

    Hello Everyone

Just to touch base and say hello !

We are still managing to snowball £3k a month at present, and making in roads to paying this debt off.

Mrs Tolip has been a star with the debt diary and budget.

My bonus went into the debt also. So no holiday this year. Instead we are having day trips and with a little 3 year old we can turn a picnic into a big adventure for very little money!!

I hope you are all well, once again thanks for all your comments.

Without this site I feel we would have lost our focus!

Hi tolip, I remember when you first posted and your position seemed so awful to you that the only thing you could think of doing was re-mortgage. I'm so pleased to see your update - special congrats to mrs.mtolip as - like it or not - it is the woman who so often has the day to day dealing with living on a tiny budget.

I am so impressed to see how you are going without holidays. So often we read threads where people whine about having to have this, that and the other!

It is all going to be worth it. :T

keep up the good work - how's your lifestyle changed?

fortunately i'm debt free but i can really feel these petrol and food hikes.
